Well done Robin - and good luck with your degree course.

I did my A level exams back in 1988 and managed an A B C which in those days was ok. I went to a grammar school and of our 6th form only about 6 got straight A's and we weren't exactly dim...well, not completely.

I know, let's all moan about 'how easy exams are today'

    Seriously though, congrats!

    nice one Robin. Congrats.

Have to ask. Are you of regular A Level age? In which case what are you doing hanging about on this old gits website? Glad to have some young spectrum blood though. Take yourself a rubber key to uni. Spread the word!

always reminded of this advert when folk talk about results.

1:40 in.... Robin wasn't even born when that was on tv..

"teachers can't mark.. a lot of them can't even see" hehe

genius - off to slap that on Facebook
  • Nice one, Robin. Congrats on your results. Blimey, I finished my A-Levels back in '94. I'm pretty sure Warwick was one of the uni's I was thinking about going to. Ended up in Aberystwyth. Fantastic place. Best time of my life etc...

Good to see today's generation appreciating the humble speccy. Right, I'm off to listen to the wireless and have a Werther's Original

    well done that's 3 'A's more than I got ( a measly B,B,C)

while I was at Leeds uni I went to Warwick uni once to see Beth Orton live in the student bar, got smashed, can't remember much. probably a nice place :-)

    Good one.
You should celebrate by coming to this year's R3PLAY in Blackpool.

Congratulations. Celebrate by destroying a few of those brain cells with beer :-)

    Well done!

And I thought it was only girls in low-cut tops that got A-Levels nowadays. At least if the news media is to be believed...

But 5 years at Uni? That sounds like a good gig.
