What band-related name would you give a Spectrum game?

edited November 2004 in Games
Blitzkrieg Bop - Shoot'em up with rock'n roll background music (AY, please!)
Howling at the moon - Remake of Knightlore
The KKK took my baby away - Text adventure in which you have to rescue your girlfriend

Ok - I admit it: I just got Ramones Anthology a couple of days ago. :)

The game I'm producing, Plan 9 Channel 7, is the name of a song by the Damned.

In fact, 'Chaosmongers' is a Voivod song, and also 'Cronosoft' is named after Venom vocalist 'Cronos' :)

I WANT TO BE SEDATED would be a good title for a Dragon 32 game.

    Manic Street Preacher

The final part in the Miner Willy saga. Having lost his fortune on wild parties and loose women, Willy finds God and roams the streets tying to save the souls of various bizarre and surreal creatures (whilst collecting flashing objects, naturally)

    The Jesus & Mary Chain.
I imagine some sort of Hawkeye/Chaos Engine-style past-meets future running around and killing sort of thing.

    REM

A game about teenage remmers (remedials)... like Skool Daze/Back 2 Skool but with an out of school setting... steal from your mams purse, hit the cider, sell individual tabs, steal a bike... head for the city etc etc

LOL! And that's given me a good idea for a room in my music-themed JSW project.

Keane - Small lad, who wears a white crash helmet with green and yellow stripes and jumps about on a pogostick. Oh, and who can't spell is name (Keen) correctly, and who shouldn't have appeared in games until the PC was about.

W.A.S.P. - Birds and the Bees III

ZODIAC MINDWARP - a game starring Jeff Minter

CELTIC FROST - a football management game where you have to manage a famous Scottish football team who's games are all postponed due to bad weather

ANTHRAX - a football management game where you have to manage an Iranian football team that is infected with disease

SAMSON - A trading game where you play the part of a NWOBHM vocalist, who makes a profit buying and selling imported handrolling tobacco.

DEEP PURPLE - a strategy game where you play the part of ALEX FERGUSON. The object being, to maintain his interesting facial complexion.

CELINE DION - any game featuring horses that can't sing

GENITAL DEFORMITIES - I'm sure something could be done with that title...

THE CLASH - any Spectrum game using colour really...

So what's the point of wasting all my words
If it's just the same or even worse
Than reading poems to a horse?

In 2001, Luca Turilli took a break from his day job, guitar-wankery with Rhapsody, to write a solo album. True to form, it sounded exactly like Rhapsody. It also contained an utterly ludicrous track called "The Ancient Forest Of Elves".

I was going to turn this into a crap game, befitting of Mr. Turilli's shocking mullet, for the CCSCGC. Unfortunately, I'm a bit short on ideas for what it might involve...

    KISS
    - a game similar to Mikie but here you must avoid the girls. The introscreen is a pair of giant lips with the words KISS coming out from

    ABBA
    - an action fishing game featuring Popeye sitting in a boat with a fishingpole and you are trying to hook the fishes which taking a bath under the boat

    D.A.D (Disneyland After Dark)
    - a great platformer similar to Manic Miner set in the Disneyland, just after dark.
Its quite hard to see things on screen until you find the switches on the walls

    ;)

    BECK -
Skinny little character who has to collect words and try to come up with random sentences. The Speccy's colours will truly be put to use in this one.

    SUGARCUBES -
Tiny little elves running around trying to make up songs about ... actually nothing at all.

SUGARCUBES 2: The Bj?rk Hulk Connection
This time you are the shortest little elf making your way out in the human world. The game would make excellent use of the beeps and bleeps of the Speccy. The little elf can turn into the Hulk when approached by reporters.
