Spector, so pleased to hear the story turned out differently for you. I'm pretty sure my mum was covering up the problem for a long time before it was discovered by the doctors. The subsequent treatment they gave her didn't work either.
Comfort comes from the fact she made it back to our family home of over 40 years, where five out of six of us were actually born. Most of us were there when she passed.
Sorry to hear of your loss there, it's heartwarming to hear about your large family however and the closeness to your mother.
