Latest news report I've heard, says he's been killed (good riddance)... Yet to be confirmed, as usual.

But... how can he be brought to justice if he's been murdered... :)

Or did he go down fighting? That'll be it, a glorious last stand. An honourable warrior's death like Osama's rofl.

it's child's play to create a grainy photo of a dead terrorist with freely available editing software. The Osama one is an excellent example.

skynews showing video of his dead body now, definitely looks like him

either way, as soon as it happens Sky can show (or claim to show) vids of his body, yet there was a massive cover-up over osama who was definitely not allowed to be shown... is it that different of a situation?

Yes because this one isn't controlled by the USA.

It's because Bin Laden had either been killed yonks ago or is actually still alive... ;)

Yes, because it's been coming for weeks now so everyone already has the stories written and the "photos" ready.
No-one knew about the Osama raid in advance :p

    No conspiracy theories please !

Osama Bin Laden is dead, Al Quaeda acknowledge that, the only ones who dont believe it are loones in the west.

I can see why the BBC took down that picture of Gaddafi as i'm sure they've had lots of complaints due to the picture of the dead body

I personally can't think of a Gaddafi joke, so you'll just have to *in Sirte joke here*

He was so ugly there were probably more requests to take his photos down when he was alive.

al qaeda is just a list of muhajiddins compiled at the time of the afghanistan resistance against ussr. and even if it really was an actual terrorist group, well, the chief of french intelligence years ago said that it had been already defeated.

and, as far as we know, bin laden could have been dead since years at the time of the "breaking news!", like somebody, in fact, said some years ago.

BBC News channel has just showed a the phonecam footage of him on the truck then showed a clip of his dead body just before 6pm.

After 6pm's headlines then short news bit they handed over to the VT guys and said some footage may be disturbing. They should have said that 10 mins before! They never even showed the dead body after the warning.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.
