Indeed, though I must say he does occasionally throw a googly, his thread on most meaningless games was quite philosophical.
Hmm. This makes me suspect andy20066 is just the last in a line of oddball characters who every now and then animated this forum, the most notorious example of them being the venerable TKrap.
Who's TKrap? I don't remember him, he must have been before my time.
Eventually he turned out to be just a little kid living in a world of retro dreams. In my personal opinion a gang of 30 years old guys mocking at him for years is a bit harsh.
And he actually took part in discussions, answered to others' post and wrote with full sentences so he's much better than andy ;)
Why not just ban andy20066's ass and tell him not to come back until he starts posting something that's worthwhile?

Believe me, I'm just as bemused as you about why he wants to make irrelevant lists (that are so content-free that he's forgotten about them after a couple of months), but if people are continuing to give earnest replies to them then they must be serving some sort of entertainment value. And it's easy enough to skip over them, just as lots of people here must surely skip over threads about MEMPTR emulation or whatever. You don't ban someone from a forum just because they're not interesting enough.

Yeah, I know - it was a bit radical but just take a look at the posts he's started > the last 19 posts of his has been of that type. Then a post about an auction and then more of those damn posts before then, which makes them more than half his posts (which is 43).
I was just annoyed by those posts even before it was brought up, but you're right - they seem to serve some value. I still call it trolling, though.

It was a con , but it's not actually that bad a game. There are far worse footie games on the Speccy - Kick Off springs to mind.
