    Oh, what a cliffhanger!

Did the radio continue to be a radio when your sister grew up?

So when your sister grew up, the radio did not grow with her, like it became something different like a TV or a Blue Ray player?

Or, you don't know because it's lost.

I don't know because it's lost and was for years... (not my sister.. the radio)

So, it's quite possible that there exists a Blue Ray player or a TV set, which previously used to be your sister's Wombles radio. I'd call that worthy of a LOOK RARE ebayism.

Well, yes, obviously, I'm fairly sure that a sister, yours, mine or someone elses, happens to not be an "it" :-P

Well, yes, of course it did. But the womble whose radio it was must have claimed it back, because that's what they do with things that the everyday folk leave behind. Obviously.

An ex-colleagues mum claimed to have lived with a womble, I bet she didn't have to do any house work! Never found out which one it was.

Wellington's my fave, followed by Orinoco and Tobermory.

Well, they're the one's I'd run the lawn-mower over last.
