It also states that it's the "largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created", but somehow I doubt that, seeing as San Andreas covers three different cities and a whole lotta desert.
Depends how big they make Los Santos. It could still be a bigger map than San Andreas. Personally, I thought Los Santos was the least interesting of the 3 cities in San Andreas.

Lots of people say that because of all the Boyz N Tha Hood references and general gangsta rap culture of it all, but I really enjoyed all that, despite the fact that there's less to do there than in the other cities.
hmmm turns out you've not been on the diversity course after all. :p
i was gonna ask that yesterday, who do you reckon will be the main character, that white guy in a suit, doing business on the phone, or the black lad being chased by the cops. :p
it'd actually be good to see it all in reverse, starting out in the rich area with the nice cars and then degenerating into the lower sections of society. sort of a guy all jaded then ends up happy in the gutter with a bottle 'o meths.

Well, Niko didn't exactly have a very happy ending! :p
I think it should be based on Michael Douglas's character from Falling Down.
You start off driving home from work, get stuck in a jam then end up on a killing spree :D

"D-Fenz" didn't kill anybody though, he just whinged a lot! :p
he killed loads, he killed those gang members in that car, the old fella on the golf course, the world war two historian guy, and himself at the end.
He didn't kill the gangsters, they crashed a car, he shot one in the leg and took their guns. And no, the copper shot him, and should've really been investigated for shooting someone armed with only a water pistol! :p

i thought he set fire to the car, maybe im thinking of mad max. :p
a much kinder description than I was expecting there Mile
well yeah he had a shop and some memorabilia, and then he tries showing a customer his stuff and gets a load of grief. he only tried handcuffing him because the guy was wanted by the police, perfectly decent stand up citizen. :p
I think the fact that whoever wrote that article needed confirmation that the voice-over isn't Ray Liotta shows that they don't really know much at all. I wouldn't pay attention to anything you hear about the game unless it comes from Rockstar, GTA games always cause lots of rubbish rumours to circulate around the 'net.
Hmph! Slightly miffed that it's only Los Santos, but if they've expanded the map fair enough....plus, they could also go crazy with DLC and add the other cities later! :D
Maybe I should fire a CV off to Rockstar North and try to get in for some game testing?! The company that recruits the games testers for them told me I was just a tiny bit late at getting the reviews they wanted in the last time I applied....Had to write about games and any bugs that I could find in them, but that was back in days before San Andreas....I could write a bloody book about game bugs these days!

yeah its good to see rockstar north got the gig, you will have to tell us all the scotish in jokes from the game. :p
shame the yorkshire one didn't get it, would have love to go down those lovely mountains in a bath. :)
In the same Q&A on Rockstar's site, they did also hint at a sequel to Red Dead Redemption too though! Although I'm guessing it'll be a while before we hear anything else about it, given that it's taken this long to get another 2 screens of GTAV... :)

Well, they kinda hinted at sequels to RDR, Bully and LA Noire. Personally, I'd love to see all three!

nah its better that way, concentrate on one city and do it well rather than like san andreas which was a bit of a hotch potch of themes.

That's what made it so awesome, for me at least; driving cross-country and seeing how the scenery and people change from place to place.
you've been on one of those diversity courses haven't you.
it will be diverse like liberty city, the sort of metro area, the upper class area, the slums etc
+1 for San Andreas having a black lead.
-1 for making him a dumb idiot :D

That's a joke right?
No release date yet. I think this year can be ruled out, unfortunately.
No release dates for anything yet!

I expect it will be 128K only.
