I don't know when Mark will be there, but I'll be there around noon-1pm, so if anyone wants their copy signed by me as well it'll have to be after that.

And of course you can - it'll be a free download here in both TAP & TZX formats after the Expo. :)

Wow, looks amazing! I hope I can bag a copy tomorrow before they all sell out.
I haven't been this excited about getting a game since rushing into town to get Nightshade on the day it was released!

These comments make me really glad I gave doing another Spectrum game after all this time a go! I mean, you lot are going to be the most critical cos you all know what ya talking about. I know you're all going to find it as maddeningly, annoyingly addictive as I do. I'm really looking forward to hearing what you all think when you've had a chance to play it.

Don't forget we've got a double page spread in the next Retro Gamer magazine about the making of the game.

I think they sold a fair few on Saturday at the show but did have some left. Mark should be back here probably tomorrow so worth PM'ing him.

Shame some idiot voted 1/10 for the game in the archive, ridiculous when people do that. Plus i bet he hasnt even played it yet as the vote seemed to be there early before the emulator image is released. Oh well, cant stop those numpties.

I just left the expo an hour ago and I think there were about 8-10 left. I got 4 extra copies that can make a couple of people happy. Mark took the rest and I'm sure he'll offer the same.

Am I in the queue?

Is there any chance the (excellent) inlay could be uploaded to the archive (and maybe the instructions)?

Yeah, but someone did that to bobs' 'Horace In The Mystic Woods' too, so at least I'm in the possible company.

It happens to most new games as soon as they're added to the archive. Some recover, and slowly their scores creep up again. If they manage to get into the top 100 list, they get more votes of 1/10 to knock them down again. This has been going on for years, it has been discussed at length and there's nothing we can do about it.

    Don't take it personally, I certainly don't.

Good. Keep me another one from small standard ones. So, I'll be paying for three items: two for me (medium and small) and the newly requested one for a friend of mine.

There's only small left, the double boxes sold out

I had a few goes on it on the +3 that was set up at the Attic Bug place. I was very impressed. It had that proper one more go thing going on.

I look forward to having a proper go on it when I recover from the weekend. :-)

I'd just like to thank all the people who voted for Buzzsaw+ with a score of 2. I mean, they've gone there to vote it down but couldn't quite bring themselves to give it a 1. That's really touching. It means a lot to me...

Chortle, yeah a 2 seems more offensive than a 1 doesn't it? I reckon it's Clive Sinclair keeping us on our toes.

How do you find out the breakdown of the votes btw?

I'd like to know which :pscoundrel:-P felt it so important to link Stamp Quest to a BASIC program I did for the CGC. Fair enough like, it was inspired by it, but the game wasn't called Norman & it was the CGC. Oh sorry, this threads about Dingo, not ranting. I'll stop there.

I have a vote of 1 in EVERY release I do, I wonder who's the one who hates me with a passion

Why are people so na?ve? Incredible, I though that we were all nice guys in the 30-40 years old range, but sometimes one may think we are back in the courtyard throwing mud at each other.

The way I think of it, scores should be removed. They don't really reflect anything if some people use them the way they do.

I'm a huge fan of anyone who does homebrew, all your efforts are appreciated ! As we've said time and time again its great getting all these new games so many years after the Speccys commercial years.

Must admit you guys are a bit quiet for once ! You used to churn out games weekly it seemed ! ;)

Yup, real life sux, but we'll try to recover.

Its a great game m8 in all fairness and this other game is looking to be another time killer ... cant wait

Well just got my emulator copy and have been playing this much more.

Really feel it captures the early years of the Speccy, reminds me of Jetpac/Cookie type games. Bought the original on saturday and love the look and feel of the cover. Like the graphics, the gameplay is far faster than i thought it would be, took a bit of getting used to (kept thinking the 'baddies' couldnt fire backwards !) but enjoying it a lot.

Its brilliant in the year 2011 we're still getting quality Speccy games like this. Hope Sokurah (cant believe it was his first game !) does more and i hope Mark does more graphics for anyone who needs them (binman !). Great game
