Very sad news. Joe Frazier, one of the greatest boxers and athletes of all time. World heavyweight champion during what was probably boxings greatest era.
The guy made history, beating Ali in THAT fight in 1971. Nobody who's seen the 11th round will forget it. The invincible Ali wobbling like crazy, bouncing off the ropes not knowing where he was at times, the crowd going berzerk... one of the great moments in sport. I remember the quote when they squared up at the start as the ref read the rules- Ali: "You can't win. You ain't got God on your side!" Frazier: "Well if God's here with you tonight, he's come to the wrong place!" :D

But, it's always sad to hear that a well respected man has passed away :( RIP
I'm sure I read somewhere that, for most of his life at least, he was a non-smoker.
Then again Non-smokin' Joe Frazier doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
