I had to wipe the hard drive, then discard and replace it.
    You're a moron.
He refused to allow it (he was 15/16 at the time) and so I rang my aunt (who was his guardian since his mother died) and she told him it was going to be done and got me to get a new hard drive (she later refunded me for that purchase) and reinstalled Windows, Office, etc from my own master files.
    And several kinds of douchebag.

    That is all.

Hey, now ... be nice. Just because he didn't do it the way you* would have done it, doesn't grant you the right to call him names ... you ninny :-P

id have thrown the hard drive too if someone was gonna buy a new one, its not zeroplis's fault it was full of ****e, he was the one doing them a favor. it teaches people a valuable lesson that if you dont take care of something you might have to buy a new one.

Of course I wouldn't be too happy about it, but porn will always defeat anti-porn in the end. It's a losing battle all the way :D

Hey!!! Is it done yet??? Get back to work, ! :p

Can't believe a Yorkshireman is agreeing to splash out money when there is no need to.

And anyway, why wipe it and then get rid? Why not just drive a 6 inch nail through it???

You do have to question someones proficiency in computer repair with acts like that.

Maybe the HDD was so full of dust and spunk residue that it was obviously due to fail imminently... Pre-emptive repair, innit. :D
