I am looking: Molex connectors Spectrum+2 (board-> ribbon membrane)

edited November 2011 in Wanted
Hi guys! I need a molex connector that connects the plate with the membrane keyboard for a spectrum +2 like this:

conectorcintaplana+2A.jpg

It has 11 pins.

I would be grateful to anyone who can help (selling the connector or indicated to me how or where I can get one). It may also interest me a broken board to get parts from there.

Thank you very much in advance. ;)

There's a set of 9 and 11 pin connectors listed on Sell My Retro - not sure if that would do the trick, but you could always ask Rich.

I seem to recall (sorry if I'm wrong) that sometimes Rwap has them in stock.

http://www.rwapsoftware.co.uk/spectrum.html , its worth asking them anyway :)

    EDIT... Welcome!

I've got a whole Plus2 (Grey) board for sale if you want. Keyboard too.

But it has 8+5 Molex connectors, not the 11-Pins...

Thank you all, I finally bought the kit of 2 molex connectors 11 and 9-pin (I only need the 11). The truth is that connectors are hard to find unless you live in Mexico or the United States and is therefore justified.

Again thank you very much, see you on the forum!

Good to hear you found some. :)

I can remember about 1990 maybe 1995 (so only a vague 'web' really) I tried a couple of local electronics shops to get a pair for my rubber keyed model (as I'd tried to hardwire a replacement 'off something unknown from Greenweld' without luck but both shops gave me a blank look about replacements. But things are a lot better now.

    The OP's picture is a +2B not a +2 :)
