...Edit:
Also there is an extremely rare version of Fairlight that was recalled before the sale date because it never had the Alkatraz copyright message. It also doesn't have a joystick option.
Think I have the only existing copy that survived being recalled and remastered with the updated version. Fairlight Release1 in the archive is from my tape. Very collectable with it also being the first release of the Alkatraz loader as well. If someone wants to offer a stupid amount of money for it.......hint......
OK, fine, I'll rip it out of yer hands for tuppence, thankyeverymuchly! I'll PM you my addresse.
Cobra had two versions, and it has always puzzled me why.
My cassette version, which Father Christmas bought me ;-) paints the loading screen a section at a time (Sly first, then his gun, them the cobra logo etc). My friends copy drew the loading screen straight down, pixels with attributes (I think).
Both versions are in the archive iirc.
Anyone know why? Always meant to ask Joffa.....
Edit: the only thing I can think of is that it was re-released when Amstrad broke the floating bus.....
Yes, I had read somewhere that Cobra was re-released to work with the +3 / +2a.
I bought a game called Frankenstein Jr that I discovered on here was also released as a different game with a female lead and a different name.
Wasn't that originally released under the name 'Bride of Frankenstein' by another company that went bust? (i can't remember their name, too much booze i'm afraid!)
Spitting Image (although one version did have a change of name to Split Personailities). One is a fantastic puzzle game , up there with the best the machine has to offer , the other is a crappy beat-em-up

Believe so. Played the same to me.

Worked out how to add new screens and levels. There's a couple of new screens I made in this demo, second screen is difficult.

Edit:
It was more than 4 years ago looking at the date on the demo I made. Bloody hell, time has gone fast.
