I just said that in a reply to fog, but apparently I talk crap so clearly he's right and you are a fiendish thief. You should have you hands chopped off so you don't do it again.

Are you telling me you never infringe copywrite?

I don't think you'll get far arguing your case in a copyright argument if you can't even spell it.

That's what crumple zones are for, If I damage your actual bodywork then yes you'd have a point ;)

You need to stop getting so worked up over a bit of scratched plastic. Plastic doesn't rust so it doesn't matter if it gets a bit scuffed :)

Being a pedant is also not going to get you far, funnilly enough it is also very petty, I think I see a pattern forming.

the car is 2 years old , bought from new.. so yer.. I think I do have a bit more of an excused to me "annoyed" about it. ;) . even when some pr*ck pranged the wing of my old metro in a car park and drove off I think that was bad.. it's the fact they do it and think nothing of it.. and that's the commonality of it :)

you obviously haven't had fkers ding up a new car , you saved up for and drive off.. you'll change your attitude when or if it happens.

it matters because it detracts from the look of the car and such dings REALLY stand out more. much the same goes for the idiots in car parks who ding doors (I never park near other cars now)

It's poor design not having a proper bumper that can get happily scuffed. Form over function :p

The difference is that if someone dings your door it actually matters because it is damaging paintwork :p

    :D

The first ding, in an otherwise ding free car is annoying no matter where it is.

But when you sell it you can always use someone elses pic ;)

I think you'll find that when it comes to copyright, being a pedant is absolutely necessary to win any sort of argument at all.

Agreed, but in an internet forum, repeated spelling nitpicking and pedantism is merely tedious.

But also, repeated and consistent failure to spell the single key word that defines the topic you're discussing (rather than making an inadvertent one-off typo/thinko) might be taken by many as a suggestion that you actually know f-all about it and are making it up as you go along.

Thanks for your aggressive reply. I don't claim to know about copyright, it is mainly other people bandying these terms around, I am just responding to them. For me that doesn't define the topic anyway, pettiness does. The sort of pettiness that causes you to bang on about a spelling mistake (which another petty member has already commented on) but you carry on sir.

Oh dear, perhaps if you are going to be an irritating spelling Nazi you should learn to spell "misspelt"

Yes, perhaps I should. And perhaps you should learn a bit about copyright law before posting your random ill-informed drivel about it. Then we'd all be happy.

What Ill-informed drivel have I posted about copyright law? I am keen to make you happy as you seem an angry person.

I don't know. I haven't read any of this pointless thread beyond the first page, and then the last 4 or 5 posts before I replied tonight. I'm just trying to make it reach my predicted 20 page target and you're the only one foolish enough to be playing along at the moment. :p

Haha gosh you got me good! Here I thought you were displaying idiocy and ignorance and all along it was an elaborate sting operation! Genius.

    Thanks.

Now. Are you absolutely sure you're not projecting, with all that talk about me being an angry person?

Nope, had a quick look through your posts, you have "form".

I do like a good difference of opinion though about things I am interested in so I will always be in the mix for eBay related debates. If it was postage charging I would be knee-deep.

Well I'm flattered. I was going to look through your posts, but based on what I've read so far I reckon they'd probably be really dull and full of gibberish.

Doesn't that all depend on the "How many posts per page" option you've selected in the Edit Options section of your User CP?

There you go again, you need to channel your aggression, have you thought of pottery? Poetry? A girlfriend?

Probably. I only care about myself though (angry, insensitive soul that I am). I have 10 posts per page selected (the default I think) -so a long way to go to reach my target yet... :p

    I think of little else.

Have you thought of an education? Learning to spell? Learning to be less-easily manipulated?
