Found a stone in my tesco value rice once, sent it back and got ?5 voucher.
My cousin had a blue rubber glove finger in his burger at a restaurant, he and his mrs got a free meal.
From the news, I liked the mouse in the loaf of bread best :)

possibly a plaster? used to work in a chinese takeaway, if we ever cut our hands we had to wear special blue plasters so they could be easily detected if they fell off into the food when we were cooking, think it might be an industry standard thing :-)
I had the the congealed-lump-of-salt-and-flavouring in a bag of crisps when I was a kid. Recall it vividly to this day, it was pickled onion flavour so it made my eyes water when I ate it, it was that intense.
I've encountered a chunk of bone-like substance in a Greggs steak pasty once. I suppose it's to be expected, and as long as it's still part of the animal and not a scabby plaster or something I don't really mind.

We were told they had a sliver of metal foil in them so they could be detected by passing the final product through a metal detector. Though since this was at a factory for frozen mince pies in foil trays, I'm not sure how reliable that information was...
so I had a bar of chocolate today.. think there was a twig in it.. well I "hope" it was a twig.. it's going off to the maker with a little "note"
it's chocolate with something else in,normally but if I saw it'd give the type.. it'll give you the maker.
I found a bit of bone in steak and kidney pie about hmm 8+ years ago,.
so what have you found in food that shouldn't have been there.. (again might regret this thread)
Mentioned the other day I found a rubber glove finger in a tin of coffee.
When I lived in England the g/f of the time and I had an Indian takeaway one night and found a 1.5" thorn in it that would have done some damage if it had gone in the mouth.
We took it to the takeaway the next evening and complained (with the hopes of getting another free carry out). The guy said it's part of the bush that some of the leaves/spices came from. We mentioned how much damaged it could have done had one of us eaten it.
Free curry always tastes better....was kind of hoping for another thorn...
EDIT: This was back in the days when you never thought of what else they might do to your food.....which I have only just thought about while typing this....... :(:(
When I worked for Compaq a guy used to bring burritos he made at home and sell to us for $1.50 a pop at break time which we would warm up in the microwave.
A friend came up to me holding his burrito and says 'look at this'.
There is a cockroach hanging out of the end of the burrito that he noticed when he had nuked it in the microwave...he says to me 'what should I do'...I said 'go tell him!' (note the guy sells to about 30 people...who are all happily munching away on theirs.)
So he goes over and talks and comes back and I said 'so what did he say?'
Friend says 'he apologized and gave me 2 more'

Yes they do - also handy to run a magnet around to fish it out :)

Me:

1 Chicken Sambar
2 pilau rice
2 garlic naan
..please.

Word quickly spread though and the guy was out of business in 2 or 3 days.
