neighbours from Hell pt2
couldn't find the exsisting thread :(
so yesterday , my idiot neighbour starts bonfire again.. and again today...now my retro collection smells smoked damage amongst other things.. so I had words.. f'ing pr*** .. told him you gonna replace stuff I wanna sell.. with the lovely smell of smoke on it ?
"oh you wanted the tree's cut down" .. yer, because if they were staying .. they'd get done for subsidence bill.
the tree people cut the stuff, and took the majority of it. he's burning twigs now.
the idiot has the unlazy option to go to the recycling place with the stuff.. but NO smokes me out of it. I'm actually coughing a bit its that bad, and that behind closed windows!!
3rd time they did it, last time they got a letter thru the door from me asking what was wrong with recycling. they only doing it today coz the council offices are shut till the 2nd, I wanted to get the smoke nuisance people around.
it's one of them ones where it's civil, but these numpties since they moved in think they own the place.

I couldn't find the thread either, I was going to post in it the other day. I'm moving out of my flat because neighbours are so bad. Constant fights, doors being bashed in, and police round. Can't get hold of my landlord though, they live 100 miles away and not answering phone all over Xmas
Fog, hosepipe the **** out of the twigs. gets more smoke that way.
yer well they are on a lease.. I'm not .. it's 2 separate houses.
I just find it really lazy / selfish when there were 2 other options which didn't cause annoyance.. but they took the lazy one
1)get bags from council/leave out with rubbish
2)take it to locala recycling plant for composting etc.
or lazy option >
3)smoke the area out.. make me have to re-wash curtains etc. and smoke out the place.. this is the 3rd time they've done it.
Oddly I always love the smell of a bonfire though so it might not bother them so they might not realise what dicks they're being to you
I've actually feel really angry.. Basically they are lucky I didn't pick up a +2 and use it on one of their windows.. (but I think , it's too light + a total waste even though I have 10+ )
it's more that specific smell sticks to stuff , my record collection which has lots of rare white labels / limited presses . AND it's 4 rooms at the back of the house that are affects. Now I have to do 2+ loads of washing because of it.
sure if there wasn't another option, and it was rural.. burn it.. but there are 2 other options. In Ireland it's illegal to have bonfires, and you get a 2000 euro fine if caught.
I've written them a letter, and I'll print out 2 web pages of options for them to use.. if they do it again, I'll f'ing have them.. If I talk to the pleb at this moment I'm liable to punch him TBH.
if they have a party till 2-3 am .. in the garden by my window , I'll feel no way about it.. I don't cause my neighbours all this grief and hopefully never will.
Same here, absolutely love it. But I also hate the smell in my clothes the next day, so I do understand what Fog's on about if he's got a lot of stuff that's now stinky.
Your help is needed over here
it was more the arrogance of when I went out to say "your taking the p*** " he thought it was fine to be like that.
3 hour bonfire, it's started raining so smoke filled out. I just felt like grabbing a curtain off a window.. and then getting them to sniff it..
I like the smell of them once in a while. but well thats the country side.. not on the border of central London. if you google my postcode (which you have) the NW bit .. you'll see it's far from a rural area.
I'm going between London and just outside for a few months.. so I might actually focus more on music instead :)
Get some sand and concrete mix and a few red bricks, and at 4am snipe over there and brick their front door up.
If you're felling really mean spoon a few shovels worth of horse manure through the gap before you add the final bricks.
It'll stink in their house and when they open the door it'll spill into it, and cos' of the bricks they'll have to smash the wall you built down, but they'll probably try to get rid of the sh*t first which will mean shovelling it up and taking it to the back of the house, which means even if they don't drop any their house will smell like horsesh*t for days.
They'll think 3 times before stinking the neighbourhood up again.
Of course short of going to all that trouble you could just get 1 red brick and smack the c**ts in the face with it :D
there is the old classic, sewing prawns into the curtains etc :)
the neighbours house is shared front door.. not fair on top flat.. but well they aren't much better f'ing about in the garden drunk at 4am.
there was the one where the farmer up the country sprayed his bank with slurry from his fields :D

I'd be interested in that but
a) it'd sadly hit a neighbours house
b) I don't want the points on my driving license
oh well , I got some BBC micro stuff today, I guess I should go try it.. exploding fist + commando to name but 2.. :p
again.. shared entrance , hardly fair on the (less annoying) tenants upstairs
Do they have a rear entrance? Problem solved
If it's the latter sneak in there late at night and spray "NONCE" on their door.
They may never have committed any crimes other than anti-social behaviour, but that word is so powerful it'll ruin them forever even if they've never even looked at a little un' in a funny manner.
Strong words wreck lives, even innocent lives, or in this case annoying pricks who burn leaves and ruin your curtains :p
Or get some of that rotten Norweigen fish that is: -
a) A delicacy
b) Proper smelly
And squeeze it through any vent-bricks they have...they'll never track that fooker down in the cavity wall...
Just asking!
;)
no.. all damaged.. except the c64 and BBC micro games..
*waits for a coach load of WOSers to turn up*
where I am , it's a private house.. BUT they are normally turned into 2-3 flats by next folk.. next door is 2 flats.. so the outer shell of the house is the same.. but inside is split by 2, so no way in etc.
moving is not an option.. they have been here all of 5 minutes TBH..
I'll just write them a letter.. try it again, test me.. you think I was angry last time.. and include a nice print out of both recycling options they were too stupid to use.. no excuses.
it's more the fact of it's my stuff they are damaging with the smell and they have no regard for anyone. I washed curtains maybe 1 month ago.. and now again I have to.. and clothes that got the smell of smoke, that were left inside..how is that fair
in this letter I will write perhaps I can save up a bucket of urine, left in their yard.. specifically to chuck around their liviing room and perhaps I can get some elephant "dung" from the zoo (which isn't that far away) to rub into your kitchen floor.
joke being he tried to justify other neighbours didn't mind.. err yer the chav's on the next road who get it all free of the government and have a broken back window boarded up .. I think they are getting evicted, if they are doing that / trashing the place.
You won't like it when he's angry!
Seriously though, I wouldn't put threats in a letter. You could end up in trouble for that. If you're gonna make threats do it in person.
nah I worded it in "snide speak" , a friend is a master of it.. ya know the one .. use polite words but imply they are a "lalala" .
I called him an f'ing p**** to his face yesterday... pillock obviously ;)
I'll send Juan around to visit hehe
them 800 scrabbles and other assorted crud you were gonna send.. just +2 the house number and add an "A" to it :)
I washed curtains in November, so now I have to redo them also. at least 2 washes and 4 sets of them
I really have to walk away from people if I'm THAT angry.. seriously , and that's happened 2 times in my life.. and I'm glad I have in hindsight.
I've had enough of car dingers (had 1 xmas eve bash the door) ,so sorta expect better from neighbours who can't exactly deny it.
