I've just had some problems with eBay. I've just paid for some stuff and was about to search for another item, but it just stopped working (cannot display page), but the My eBay page seemed to load ok? That was about 10 minutes ago if that helps?

*EDIT* I've just tried eBay again and it won't load at all now...

    Ebay fine for me :)

    Ebay is fine here.

    Hasn't been down for ages.

I do remember back the day [2000 ish] when it would shut for maintenance for an hour or so, usually around 10 ish in the morning. which would be about 3 to 5 am in the states. Didn't really affect many aucitons then as most ended in the evening.

thats odd.. you posted and you didn't request a cover scan? :-o

thankfully this isnt' a repeat thread , so I won't get told off for that :)

2 watchers.. but well maybe no takers.... guess I'll find out later.. it retails at 4 times that amount new.. I would say it's ok as a sofa , as stated in the advert :)

Juan , you have argos there ? it's a very select / high end shop here *smirk*

    http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500002901&langId=-1&searchTerms=6285795

i was talking to someone about argos the other day, i am suprised it has managed to stay open, i guess it is propped up by its web sales as its still a massivly well known store.

it'd be sad if it shut, as i have great memories as a kid waiting for a new catalogue and spending hours looking at the toy section circling all the stuff i wanted.

the thing about argos is that people will buy stuff and return it within 2 weeks.. years ago my parents had someone renting, whenever the ST came out as he bought one hehe. but he'd get a TV on credit card.. use it for 2 weeks.. then go back to argos and get another one.

I remember playing on a texas ti99/4a in the one in wembley branch , I must have been about 7-8 at the time :) . the people who go in there now are different, what it sells isn't the same.

Juan, I think it's a great idea.. since obv. Znor has an industrial laser scanner he can borrow me YER :p

they used to use something simular to get the dimensions in music studios to put up bass traps etc , it made a computer model of the room

(then I'll flog that on ebay also :) )
