Nothing important really, had not noticed it before today.

A look at the basic (it is all basic) shows an excess of 23613=0 pokes, 40 of those pokes in all in just a few K of basic. Only looked at V1

I wonder why they did so many :-?

    It's a simple protection device, you can't access the BASIC once the program is running.

    23613 and 23614 are SP_ERR - They were probably used for a crappy protection system. From memory I believe they avoid BREAK to actually stop the execution - but the effect is invalidated after an INPUT, thus the need of re-poking. Anyhow, it's an extremely cheap solution.

    After an input might explain why there's so many then.

    I'm aware saving it as code was a quick way of keeping the less-determined out. :)

    Not even tried to play it yet, might have a go now I have standard basic .tap
