    I thought this thread was gonna be about the American re-make of "Only Fools And Horse"

    I really can't see an American version of that working :(

    Won't that be next year? I'm sure it was nearly 12months before she was officially crowned?

    not really sure, maybe they are waiting for nicer weather or like you say till next year.

    You'll get your party and day off work in the summer. Just looked it up: Monday 4 June and Tuesday 5 June are bank holidays in the UK. As well as the, hopefully, better weather they didn't want to celebrate on the actual anniversary of her old man pegging it.

    Yep, I'm having the whole of that week off (cos it's only 3 days), and sodding off to Corfu for the following week (cos it's about ?200 cheaper than actually going that week).

    That was yesterday - June is a celebration of the coronation.

    No it's not. The Coronation was in 1953.

    True, but Princess Elizabeth became Queen as soon as her Father passed away. This is someone who has two birthdays, right?
