    Ah, right. Still a brilliant album :-)

    Dr Jimmy, The Punk and the Godfather, The Real Me and Drowned are some of my favourite tracks by anyone, ever.

    In fact I think I'm going to watch the movie (again) this week!

    I finally checked out some mars volta, my brothers got their first album. different to what I thought it would sound like. more american. s'pose they are american though (?)

    Also got The Essential Who on the cycling mp3 player. It's only recently I've got into them. Fantastic stuff - Baba O'Reilly is amazing.

    Yep, they're American (well, American but of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent), from Texas. If you like that track, the new album might be more up your street, it's very ambient/atmospheric, awesome stuff!

    Medeski Martin and Wood - 20 (theres an awesome track called "make room for another, mixed by dj olive) its jazz but would fit in on a drum and bass comp so nicely :P )

    That's just the type of hip-hop I likes, oldskool samples mellow-ish beats, and an MC who doesn't sound like he's got his head stuck up his own arse.

    yeah , not much about these days. the kind of 'hip hop' that gets in the charts is terrible. you tell someone you like hip hop they think you mean stuff like lil wayne...
