Mike Allen Capital electro/hip-hop show, unknown date (I think it's from '87, given what tunes are on it).
Current track: The Fresh Krew - My Hands Are Quicker Than The Eye
Risking premature deafness by listening to 'The Who live at Leeds' through headphones at full volume!
After 40 years its still an awesome live album, currently listening to 'Sparks'.

Yep, they're American (well, American but of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent), from Texas. If you like that track, the new album might be more up your street, it's very ambient/atmospheric, awesome stuff!
Medeski Martin and Wood - 20 (theres an awesome track called "make room for another, mixed by dj olive) its jazz but would fit in on a drum and bass comp so nicely :P )
Professional Mel-the-Bell Simulator................"So realistic, I found myself reaching for the Kleenex King-Size!" - Richard Darling
yeah , not much about these days. the kind of 'hip hop' that gets in the charts is terrible. you tell someone you like hip hop they think you mean stuff like lil wayne...

Also got The Essential Who on the cycling mp3 player. It's only recently I've got into them. Fantastic stuff - Baba O'Reilly is amazing.

Nice find oh Def one :D
That's just the type of hip-hop I likes, oldskool samples mellow-ish beats, and an MC who doesn't sound like he's got his head stuck up his own arse.
