DVD world magazine
is it no more?
ive been buying this mag for years, loved it for the mix of horror/gore/cult and porn film stuff, and also for the free cover dvds....mainly 70s euro sleeze horror stuff lol (jean rollin etc)
BUT
ive not been able to find it for about a year, is it no more?
anybody else buy it, like it?
ive just stuck all my old ones in the loft to make room for all mi retro gamers :D

Even back then, I could see it was a dodgy advert, these were full page things in more than one issue, then the letters page argued the toss about it for months afterwards?
I bought it for a few years in the 90s. Saw it on the shelves recently, in my local corner shop, and assumed it had just run in an unbroken line.
My local corner shop, is rubbish, it has a 2005 TT magazine on the shelve, I check that it's still there every time I go in. I stopped telling him that it was out of date in about 2007.
I used to pick up Video/DVD World on occassion too, although if you read Darkside regularly there was quite a bit of crossover.
Like Bob says, Darkside went away (for over a year IIRC) and then came back, so maybe DVD World will return too.
yeah i bought if mainly for the horror / gore stuff............honest guv :P
