yeah , not much about these days. the kind of 'hip hop' that gets in the charts is terrible. you tell someone you like hip hop they think you mean stuff like lil wayne...

Have you seen Lil Wayne "play" guitar? He's amazing. Makes Dimebag look like an amateur...

    ;)

I've been listening to what I have for my Green Eggs n' Ham tune obsessively over and over again.

It's a jumbled mess of noise and more noise, feedback everywhere, fuzz, echo, and out of synch guitar and bass. but I think I'm going to keep it that way

Got the basics down for the slow stuff, the fast parts are gonna be a bastardo as they need to get gradually longer and faster, the more ranting there is. I think for the slow parts I'm gonna do some slow screaming in the style of Screamer from Police Academy "I AAAAMMMMM SAM!!!!! SAM IIIIII AAAAAMMMMMMMM!!!!!!"

I think the finished tune will end up being about 25 minutes long, now there's value for money :D

Blind Melon - No Rain. I've not heard this in years! I've got a 12" picture disc somewhere, but no player to play it on. I picked up the album today for ?3.

    Also...

Stone Temple Pilots - Core. Another cd I picked up today for ?3. I really should have bought this years ago, but I just never got arund to it. I've got it on tape somewhere though.

The Satanic Mass - A cd recording from The Church of Satan recorded "live" in 1968. It's quite laughable really (although, I wouldn't like to think I'm messing in unknown forces), but I can't take La Vey seriously when he's wearing that hood with the comedy horns on it and playing fairground music on his hammond organ (this cd's full of that). The verses are pretty good though. Thouht provoking and quite atmospheric with the organ music in the back ground.

their track 'Sexy Boy' used to seriously get on my nerves, I'd hear it at least 3 times a day when I worked in Argos warehouse with local radio piped in through the speakers. no escape
