Ryde Castle on Fire

Caught fire shortly after a they let fireworks off from the roof.

Shame really, it's a nice building/landmark. Don't look good, been burning for a few hours now, still going strong.

    I hope they had a health and safety assessment done PRIOR to it *shrugs*

    you can know the insurance company will try everything to not pay up,due to it being.. well different circumstances.

    much like I'm not allowed to drive my car around the neurberg ring as featured in top gear.. but it's actually a public road

    oh well they can stick it on ebay, free listing weekend.. better hurry though..

    as long as no one was hurt thats the main thing.

    I did see a castle for sale on ebay once, though as I recall it was one of those token amounts with lots of strings attached, i.e buy this scottish pile, for a few quid and agree to spend so many million on it, I think the ebay ad was a way of raising publicity

    theres an old tower / castle on the way from Hemel to Bletchley , maybe you know what I'm on about.. it's an A road, instead of going on the M1 I decided to go that way, when I went to VCF and spotted 2 WOSsers there :)
