I don't do small portions either, not worth cooking and eating if it don't fill you up.

    Here's todays late night snack:

Yeah, but they'd cook it all nice like, on, like, a stove or something, not - what was that - a flamethrower? :p

I always take a pic of my dinner now if the cameras about, feel like a bit of a looney, but it's all good fun :)

I saw you got a new doorbell button, quite a nice one too ;-)

yer it was ok as it goes, only down point is the screws were way too short, so I got stupidly long ones so it's not budging,
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350542158374

thing is , it's not even my house, got doorbell wire off there also.. it was a decent bell *but* it obviously helps rival bidders know it's me.. that + the feedback..

because it's a brass bell, lets just say I made damn sure it's not coming off the wall in a hurry.. i used wall plugs *BUT* when I put em in, I also used filler.. *BUT* the recess for the button bit isn't far enough, so am in 2 minds wether to bother. I even fitted another wire incase they wanted to add more bells.

It was annoying NOT having a bell, as I didn't get much ebay stuff shipped here.. although I got a nice "none smoked" plus 4 today :D

I took out the 128 toast rack out of it's box today..I forgot how "mint" it is ..probably the best looking machine I own... what.. mint is food right ? hehe

that depends on you though, a friend who is 4 months older than me, used to eat loads more than me and is like a twig as he's got a fast metabolic rate.

I think if you balance it with exercise, then no prob..I walk 20 minutes to the post office (each way) a lot with ebay stuff.. and for the past 4 months it's been a proper walk up a well steep hill. I can't really run as one of my knee's is pretty bad. But not excessively like some people who live in the gym.

didn't the guy who invent jogging have a heart attack while out jogging?

The stuff in the glass was actual Guinness, the black lager was something I'd chugged beforehand. It's not bad, still got [strike]four[/strike] 3 of them left.

Drinking one of them now, and then it's onto the Mexican beers.

They're dark like that because of the marinade and because they were flame grilled not because they're cremated, there was only one that was slightly overdone, and that was my fault. In my drunkeness I turned the gas on the grill up instead of off below where that one was and it ended up kind of well done. Ate that one first it was still tasty.

you think I left the wires hanging out of the wall with a note attatched saying simply.....

'AVE IT!! (remeber it's getting redecorated thats why I didn't finish it / seal+prime)

    door-inside-Copy.jpg
    doorbell--Copy.jpg
    :)

well it's filled in and the doorbell is done, outside.. *BUT* they are repainting here.. so I didn't paint it.. and I didn't use the PVA primer stuff on it..
and yer I will take a pic.. I think YOU think I botched it ;) . could be better.. but well. i'd give it a 6/8 out of 10. It would have been better if it was done orignally with trunking.. the previous owner of this place apparently was a builder... BUT the papers turned up one day asking about his soccer hooligan antics (throwing coins at players)

    I deducted points as

    1) i need to hollow out more where the bell button goes so it fits better

    2) it's not painted , does need a bit of fine sanding on the inside wall.

I even fitted another cable for another bell while I was doing it , just in case :)

I suppose it does depend of your metabolism, i hadn't thought of that. I have to be careful on what i eat or i'll end up fat! My job doesn't help, i'm sitting on my arse all day so no chance to burn off anything. Everything in moderation is okay (except booze)

Boozy, you should try that with aubergines, not peppers.
Though I do love those long sweet peppers stuffed with Feta cheese. I can never do it right; fortunately I've got my hols booked to somewhere that does.

Don't like Aubergines, or Eggplant as I have to say here in the states

...and as for Feta ergh! I'd rather stab my nob repeatedly with a blunt pencil than eat that stuff, it smells like sweaty armpits, and it's so rank I can't even swallow it, it comes back up if I try ergh!

Speaking of aubergines, here in the south we cook fried aubergines with 'sugar-cane honey' (I supposed it's the correct translation of 'miel de ca?a', a special variety of honey):

    2321841957_18379bb3e0.jpg

    Please try it and tell!

You even can cut aubergines in 'chips' style.

    Chilli Fries.

They were pretty sh*t actually, but they filled a gap, and no doubt guarenteed me a shifts worth of really stinky farts tonight at work :D

I'd eat that. Chips look nice in both yours and Maroc's pics too.

When I cook chilli I sometimes use a bit of that hot curry paste you can get in jars. Then spice it up to oblivion with crushed or fresh chillis so it makes my mouth water. Mmmm...

I'm cooking chicken pie n' chips now, that's todays food.

But I am slow cooking a Lamb Vindaloo in a crockpot, it'll unfortunately be ready when I leave for work, so it'll get fridged and eaten at a later date. But I wanted to make a curry again, I was missing me curry cookin', been ages since I've had the motivation or time to make one.

It will be a effin' good curry methinks :D

Gonna be bloody hot too, got about half a bottle of scriracha in there, along with a load of fresh chillis, it'll probably be more like a Tindaloo, than a vindaloo. Although I used red chillis, and Tindaloo's always seem to use green?

I would've put Habaneros, Scotch Bonnets, or Ghost Chillis if I had've had some, but alas I did not :D

I should hopefully be having smoked BBQ ribs later on if everything goes to plan, I have to build the bloody smoker first though, then the wife is lobbing them in it. Should be well tasty. But I think they'll probably be ready too late for me to eat em' when they're done :(

It's like a hot dog but not, tastes much better....frankfurter type thing wrapped in bread dough and cooked in the oven..with other fillings, cheese, jalapenos etc. Fairly popular breakfast food here eaten while warm.
