    Sugar: F.U.E.L.
    Current Track: Gee Angel.

Probably repeat it a few times, love this tune, although years ago I thought it was crap, but it really grew on me. One of the best tunes on the album, alongside Gift which was f**king awesome guitar in it.

    It's just an EP.

Free Cocaine has all the tunes from it on there, but they're slightly different recordings for some of em'. Like Let's get pregnant is really fuzzy and has a sample of a baby crying near the end, and it cuts off without fading after the sample.

If you can't find it online you know what to do?.......Cough...Cough PM....Cough! ;)

    Husker Du Radio again.

It's actually played 3 Husker Du tunes in the space of 20 minutes :o

It does keep playing Agent Orange for some reason? Last band I would've thought of being like Husker Du? Although it could be right, they were a little strange I suppose, and they did end up shifting from Hardcore to what sounded like surf music? Well if it's the Agent Orange I'm thinking of anyway? :D

Now it's playing The Jam again, I suppose The Jam does sound a little like the Du's later stuff? maybe?

How'd I miss this post yesterday?

I'd be one of those ones who turn up thinking they can do it, but I'd be drunk and swearing my head off.

Normski would be like "Well I quite liked him, he seemed nice, and I thought his Bruce Lee cap was pretty cool". Foggy would be like "No Boozy try again in a few years when you're not such a f**king moron", the final vote cast by karingal would no doubt simply be "no...".

Then I'd have to go outside and rant at the camera's about how great I am and how those 3 were clueless and I wasn't :D

Would make [strike]some[/strike] an entertaining [strike]TV[/strike] youtube video.....or maybe not? :D

I wouldn't have said so tbh. thinking back, I remember a band called Small 23 who sounded very husker du-esque. I had a tape of their first album, managed to find just one tune from it on YT

quite candy apple grey era-ish, sounds like you only like their hardcore HD stuff though.

    Mostly.

Candy Apple Grey is one of their worst albums if you ask me, ironically containing one of Grant Harts Strongest tunes (I don't wanna know if you are lonely). Warehouse songs and Stories isn't that bad, but I usually only listen as far as Bed of Nails the last handfull of tunes just seem like "Yup we all hate each other so let's just finish the album and go our seperate ways" type of tunes. Ice Cold Ice is one of Husker Du's best tunes though.

I think Flip your Wig is quite good, but it was all downhill after Zen Arcade if you ask me?

dunno, it might be something to do with the production on candy apple grey and warehouse... the CDs are done really quiet there's no bass and the guitars sound weedy, I tried 'bassing' them up in audacity ages ago and they sounded a lot heavier, albums maybe just need remastering. I really like bob moulds tracks, never been that into grant harts songs, or his drumming, or even his singing tbh, the worst husker du song is his piano ballad on candy apple grey imo (horrible!)

You could be onto something....."No Promise have I mmmaaaaaayyyyyyeeeeeeeede" Gaylord! Although maybe I shouldn't say that about him since he is actually gay? :D

Anyway yup that album was bollox, although as you say Bob's tunes are better (and I'm sure you've read this opinion by me before as well), Crystal was also a could tune on Candy Apple. It was slow but Bob's voice was well gravelly and angry on it (as it always was usually with the exception of Hardly Getting Over It). Anyway Grant's tunes weren't all pants, I have a bit of a soft spot for his long drones Data Control, and Diane are 2 of the bands best non-screamy/squeely/poofy (controversial :D) Hart tunes IMO

not sure tbh. it's pretty well known bob mould was/is.

think greg norton is married so probably straight, yet ironically he always looked the most gay
