Strange Desktop background problem

Hi all

OK,i am using my Desktop background to come on every 3 hours(9am,noon,3 pm,6pm,etc).All was OK that is until the clocks went forward.The normal time is fine,but when i try to save the Desktop background's to come on at 3 hour intervals(yes i do save at noon,3pm,6,pm)the Desktop background ALWAYS change 1 hour later then they should.Is there a windows forum that i can post this problem on,or am i being dense and missing something obvious?.Thanks for looking.

    What software are you using to change the background? As far as I can tell, Windows just does it every 'n' minutes, rather than at fixed times.

    I am just using Windows itself to change the background,no 3rd party programs.

    In that case I think it's just because when you set it to every 3 hours, it's taking into account the last time it changed it rather than necessarily the moment you edited the preference. You'd need to change it to something like every 1 hour, then once it's changed at the point you want, change it back to every 3 hours.
