I've got my Competition Pro USB joystick

I got it from http://www.core-digital.co.uk recieved it the next day, it cost ?9.99 + ?5.88 postage ( Although it was only wrapped in brown paper and they paid ?2.15 postage ).
On the base of the joystick is a sticker with among other things http://www.speed-link.com on it.
It doesnt have the suckers on the bottom ( did anyone ever use those damn suckers ???, they just got in the way when u were holding it )
When I plugged it in XP recognised it ( there is no driver disc )and when I went to configure Spectaculator, I found it was already configured as the joystick to use( Thank u Sir Jonathan of the Needle ).
It works well with the emulator and I am more than happy with it ( apart from postage of course ), I didnt like using the keyboard on the original spectrum and I didn't like using a keyboard on my emulator. I would reccomend it to anyone.

    Hi Jonathan
You won't be disappointed I promise, I've been waiting years for a joystick like this. I am now in spectrum emulation heaven. It's brought new life to my emulation experience. I am now going to see if I can make 1 of the extra buttons work as the start button ( number 0 ) in Spectaculator
Forgot to mention that my joystick came with a red ribbon tied around the shaft oooeerrrr and it has an auto fire switch at the back.

I got myself one of those a while ago....

    http://www.x-arcade.com/two-player.shtml

Needeless to say it works just like a second keyboard and every button can be reprogrammed to work with games that have more than one fire button or different actions associated with different keys.
I think I am all set for a long time.....
