... as mentioned in the very first post that started this thread :)
Yes, but people love to repeat remarks I've made, as it makes them seem knowledgeable and clever. Winston's always COPY/PASTEing from my posts, hoping to get a reputation as a smartypants, the cheeky rotter ;)
XBomber, is Chronotrigger the SNES RPG? If so, I've not played it (I'm not much of an RPG player) but I hear from all sides that it's an excellent game.
Yes mate. I'm not a massive RPG fan myself but chrono trigger is in my top 5 games of all time (on a multitude of platforms over 25yrs.
final fantasy 7 is the only other RPG near the list.
CT was released on snes, ps1 and recently ds and everyone should play it once. I played it on a snes emulator on my psp few months back and still a blast.

actually pokemon blue too. laugh if you will but addictive!
Radiant Historia on the DS (not 3ds) is an RPG which uses time travel a lot as its main mechanic.
As you progress you will get to a decision like wait for you allies to arrive or attack the enemy without backup. You will then playthrough that decision but it can result in failure or death at which time you have to travel back in time to the decision and pick the other one. These decision branches are the main backbone to the whole story and its quite a unique way of telling a story. You will also have parts where say a big rock will need smashing for someone to pass through in the future but you arent strong enough so will have to return when you are which in turn further branches the decision tree.
The battle system is also very different that most classic rpgs.
The enemies appear on a 3x3 grid and some of you attacks are geared towards knocking an enemy in a certain direction across the grid so you can chain you parties attacks so that you knock all your enemies to one single square and then attack them all in that one square with you mage. Its just a shame they only released it on handheld and not console.
You will then playthrough that decision but it can result in failure or death at which time you have to travel back in time to the decision and pick the other one.
Lots of games have this feature already, except they call it "savegame" :)

True but when you reload a save you lose any exp gold etc you make after the save where as in this game you keep it when you jump back/forward in time.
Bob, I've not heard of Blades of Time, and I agree that by now every game should have fully user definable controls. Console first person shooters are becoming ever less configurable, and their designers seem to randomly choose which buttons represent functions like Crouch, Melee attack, Sprint, and Jump.
It's the sequel to X-Blades from what I've read somewhere and that games was panned anyway. I downloaded the demo again after a recomendation from a friend at work who say's that there is and option to invert the controls, but I still couldn't find it so the game remains un-playable for me (and probably 1000's of other players too)
On a side note, I downloaded the demo for Asura's Wrath on PS3 last night as I've just bought a copy of it from eBay and even though that's got an option to invert the controls, it doesn't make the slightest difference! It was like that on the Xbox demo too :( I hope it's fixed for the proper release or I'm going to have troulbe with the shooting sections on that game too :(

And now I'm quoting you for no good reason, just hoping that quoting you will also make me seem smart!
