Nave
I found a game called "NAVE" by Lusitania Software
Authors: Laurindo Sobrinho, Lucio Quintal, Tony Sobrinho
Release date is 1990-91
The message language is english.
It loads, but there are no levels to load on the tape, so the game is waiting to load a level.
Shall I send it to WOS? Does any1 has levels for this game? Has any1 heard about it before?

"Nave" can be directly translated as "Ship" but the popular use of the word means "Space Ship".
It might be a long forgotten homebrew game, or maybe just be one of the many game projects that got started but never got finished. I had many friends who would gather, design sprites, a BASIC loader, worry about anti-merge, loading screen, menu, high-score table, anti-break, line 0, etc etc. but the game itself would never see the light of the day. :p
I still have sprites and game screens of some of those projects.
I can't sleep without knowing what this game is. ;-)

Be quick, because I will delete it later.
Where did you get this game LCD???
Thanks for sharing
And now you surprised me even more..how did this game get to a hungarian? any amateur speccy games exchange??
Interesting!
I still have these tapes, even if some games won't load, because there were some unknown titles (Unknown for me at least). Most of these games are still not in the database and I hope to TZX them all soon.
It appears (after trying in infoseek) that the game slipped away and its not in WoS archive! :)
Another portuguese uMIA could be solved
Haha no, Im at work, so I cant download anything...I just trusted LCD when he said that he would quickly remove the link! :)
Also it appears after looking though the DUMP in Tapir that it's another title from
Lusitania (The loading screen looks like Lusitonia to me :-0 ):

Ah, you already mentioned the information in the first post :-)
Was the source tape original or a copy ? We can add it as a TZX update or just via the non-TZX update.
An infoseek record will probably need creating.
Cheers
Anyway, it sits looking to load 1 byte (with flag and parity, that's 3 bytes) with the level number, but I can't seem to be able to fool it into going any further.
The source file was a copy on a C90 tape from software "exchange" over snail mail.
I have still a lot of uMIA to dump, but first I must retype my complete games list before continuing the dumping (My 64 bit sytem does not like makeTZX somehow, any newer software available?).
My maketzx works in Windows 64 bit, because I compiled it from the source code. I uploaded it before, but that was in those happy days when megaupload did work. Here it is again:

Thank you very much. I noticed that its missing zlib.dll, but no problem to find it on the net.
So then I will start to grab my tapes again this weekend. Some Tape inlays look promising. Hmmm. "Frankensteins Schloss" is not on WOS yet...
Hmm deustche spielen! :)
Keep us posted about your progress!
Ja, es ist ein deutsches Spiel. I have some of them here around like "Hubschrauber Pilot" too. I myself never wrote any game in german language, only english. Other authors thinks, it is funny to do not let play people who do not speak this language.
Citation from Simpsons:
">>Die, Bart, die<<? thats German"
"Oh! Someone speaking german cannot be a bad guy"
...
LOL
The same problem exists with most games from russia. Njet Harascho...
Yes well, maybe the games are from the early eighties, when there was no plan to release them outside of Germany...
But its also true, that nowadays is much better to release a game in english so the whole scene can play it and enjoy ;)
Looking forward to seeing those games...and practising my german :D
Yes, but fortunaly most games can be played without knowing the Language. Big exceptions: Anything that is adventure or strategy.
How long do you live in Germany?
Ein jahre und neun monates :)
Ein Jahr und neun Monate...
Das ist sehr Kurz ;)
So then you can improve your german playing german games then. ;)
It does not work here on Win 7 x64, but I misused my server to run this version on x86 Windows 7. At least the File limit is not 256 Kb anymore. The File with Frankensteins Schloss is defect, but I'm sure, I have a backup somewhere.
