Renegade's back alley?

edited April 2012 in Games
Greetings everyone!

I am currently playing superb classic Renegade and the levels featured are exactly as I remembered from back in those glory speecy years, that is, the underground, the pier, the red-light district and then the gangsters' pub. There is no such thing as the back alley leading to the gangsters' pub in the version I downloaded from www.worldofspectrum.org, and there wasn't anything like that in my Renegade tape back in the day.

I was surprised to see a review of the spectrum version of this game on youtube and it does feature the back alley leading to the gangsters' pub, just as featured on the arcade version.

Why is so?

Thanks for reading.

Wasn't the "back alley" level only featured on the 128K version of the game, just like the back-flip move?

That should explain it... and should explain why I didn't remember any back flip move from back in the day and, since reading in old magazine reviews featured at www.worldofspectrum.org that such thing exists have been trying it like a bloody fool with no results on the 48k version...

    Thanks a lot.
