about Three Weeks In Paradise 48k version
Hi All,
I want we to talk for Three Weeks In Paradise 48k version :)
Mikie make very precise tzx who is in WOS archive, but
Side A and Side B of this tape have 15 bytes difference.
May be in WOS archive must present side a tzx and side b tzx ?

Here is samples from tape, loader is interesting. I not know for what is last 2 dummy bytes but they not important at all I think.
Andrew may be need to make tzx and from side b ?:)

I've got a pirate copy I made a TZX of a while ago (only had the one side of the tape) and I've compared it against your samples and it matches your side A. If you strip the two bytes off the end it then matches the WOS version.
I tried stripping the bytes off both sides but the last block still doesn't match so there's obviously some difference between them somewhere.

tzx side b my proposal ...

In TOSEC we have 10 tzx's for Three Weeks in Paradise but this is not place to comment TOSEC :)

and yeah..i know how many we got..idetifying loading schemes aint my strong point thou :)
I made a pair of TZX files from your wavs. In effect, you're right, both sides contain different data, and current TZX at WoS should be update to cover both sides. TZX currently preserved was made by Mikie, who solved the Mikro-Gen scheme, as richl said.
I tried to make two more correct TZXs, following timings from Mikie, and including the trailing dummy pulses too. These pulses exist for real. I uploaded a snapshot while editing your wav files in my sound editor, where this is easily seen. You can get it here.
As you can see in the image, I marked last byte (checksum) and dummy pulses. Checksum value for side A is CD, while for in side B is 63. Both numbers expressed in hexadecimal.
The files that you propose are here.
Cheers,
Jose.
I submit to WOS your tzx for Side B :)
