Can anyone tell me what this game is? :/

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone can help me? I played this game when I was a kid on my cousin's spectrum but I don't know what it was called and he doesn't remember either. All I remember is that it was a sidescrolling beat-em-up/adventure with pretty good graphics, where you were in the jungle/caves and could climb ladders to different areas. The game might have been in a similar vein to Saboteur but I've checked and that's not it. I also remember there being panthers that tried to attackyou I think? There may have been vines to swing from too but I'm not sure. Would be cool to find out what it was but I'm not trawling through thousands of games to find it on here haha. Hope yall can help!

    There's a few games I'd love to play again that I'm having difficulty tracking down, most of which were on cover tapes and suchlike. I reckon half the fun IS in trawling through thousands of games, who knows - you might find some more that you like on the way, although finding them on tape is even more fun if you ask me :).

    Why not try the WOS archive advanced search facility, you already know it's a 'Beat 'em Up' so you've already narrowed down your search criteria to a few hundred at least - good luck :).

    it seems fist II.

    the pictures in this review are more suitable to illustrate the game.

    Yeah, that certainly got a panther in it.

    The only other beat 'em up with a panther in it I can think of is Wild Streets but the panther is on your side in that one :smile:

    The problem comes if you beat things up but it's categorised on WoS as as an Arcade Aventure or Arcade Platformer. Then you've got loads more to trawl through!

    @Speccy - any more details? Year published? Colourful? What did your character look like? How did you attack the enemies, fists? weapons? Was there a lot of exploring or picking up objects as well as combat?

    Saboteur 2 has panthers in it, as far as I can remember anyway. It is definitely Fist II that the OP is after though. :smile:

    there is a game called Panther, I just looked at it, it hasn't got any panthers in it though

The funny part is: the players are aliens (or droids, can't remember exactly). I have been searching and trying to remember the name of the game, but I can't. Does anyone know anything about it ?
