    Yeah ok, will go with the Swedes since thats our closest Scandinavian neighbour.........

    What a beating Germany gave to the Costa Ri...who? Oh they left already....

    Poland and Eucador was ok, especially the 2nd half.

    Tomorrow is England and paraguay........will be rooting for England of course, that is if theres no cheats amongst them......

    Well that didn't happen, Costa Rica gave the Germans a few scares and proved they're no pushovers. The final score didn't really reflect how close (no pun intended!!) the match actually was. It did however show some gaps and frailties in the German defence.

    Yes, thats true Karingal, though 4 goals aren't exactly "run of the mill" everyday events either, then again, scoring 2 goals against Germany is also rather "spectacular" especially by an opposing "Sunday football team".

    So, looks like the Greeks are on their way home so soon. I think they should put their players on Ebay as well as the county :)

    I've stopped watching most football events ever since Greece defeated Portugal in Euro 2004 in the finals. My rage is mostly gone and I can finally enjoy Greek-style yogurt without thinking about it.
