Man, did you know.... (C5)

Rotterdam has it's own C5 website:
http://c5rotterdam.nl/C5_01_Home.htm

:)

The C5-garage holder has C5's for rent.
The enthousiasts in Rotterdam even have their own annual meetings!

They have even been covered in the Metro newspaper:

Man, WTF, 4 C5's in front of the Hilton:

"We aren't speeding, are we?" he might be asking :)

Unfortunately it seems he is selling 3 C5's of his collection:

That pimped up C5 is not really related in any way to a C5 other than the body. For a start its powered by petrol.

If people want a thrilling experience, best spend your money building a go-cart. I've been 90mph on a go-cart that sits only 2cms from the ground. Only cost a few hundred quid to build. 0-60 in about 3.5 secs. The closest you'll get to that experience is in formula 1.

I'd love to get hold of one of these engines.

And build a go-cart around it. Put wings on it and it might even fly! :)

I'm in pain just looking at a picture of a C5. Where the hell do I put my lower legs?

Over the steering wheel, fully in the car body front.
No wind on your legs ;) Allthough I've read some use a blanket anyway.

I've drive one once, it was really comfortable, and a nice experience.
I can imagine those Rotterdam guys making those trips.

    In the pics I see a trailer... I didn't know a C5 can tow a trailer!

How about a C5 with GPS software running on a Spectrum using a Spectranet connected to a mobile hotspot using 3G? :-D

So.... if I'm lying flat on my back so that I can stick my legs into the front of the C5, how do I see out? If I sit up to see out, causing my legs to rotate downwards as my back rotates upwards, where do I put my legs? etc. These things are designed for people who are double-jointed.

Haha, no, you're sitting upstraight. It's not like those bikes you're laying flat on.

It's not that they did not show them ;)

Maybe they camouflaged then with a C64 skin or something and only took it off for the pictures to put on their websites.

    What about this version:

    i050525.jpg

It looks like a d**k, who wants to mod his C5 to a body part, unless he is compensating for something...

Listers trike in Red Dwarf was a C5 too. I'm currently restoring one myself :)
