I've just consulted with my lawyer, and the total bastard (obviously, since he's a lawyer) said I can't touch you for the money. Leaving aside all Frankie Howard type responses, I said it was a clear case of copyright violation, but (according to my lawyer) the mentally infirm are immune to copyright penalties, and you being a fan of the Dizzy games, well, you could write a book called Saw VII: Harry Potter and the Marvel Avengers in Raiders of the Lost Davinci Code, and still never see the inside of a courtroom.
I have to admit, I didn't know about that legal loop-hole, but now that I do, I can see how Russell T. Davis got away with writing (well, randomly placing letters from a SCRABBLE set) Doctor Who for so long. That's one mystery solved, but I still want to know how Keanu Reeves gets cast as anything other than a zombie.
Anyway, I'll let you off if you let me have a copy of your next JSW rewrite for free (feel free to charge everyone else, though). You can even make me the hero if you like, but I insist on the sprite being as good looking and athletic as me. None of that fat and wobbly look, with him sitting on the ground and refusing to move for the whole game. Come to think of it, Keanu Reeves would make a good sprite, he has the full range of emotions for that part, anyway.
