I've just started playing Lollipop Chainsaw on Xbox360. It's more insane genius from Suda 51 so fans of his should know what to expwct. Other than his genius input, it's a rather simple brawler really. Dodgy camera included.
It's good fun though and pretty funny. The first time I used the power up booster and the soundtrack changed to "Hey Mickey" I laughed so hard. It's just bonkers
Not a full gameplay video, but a fan made edit (with a remixed version of the song on the soundtrack)

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting that at some point...I'm really enjoying the last one he worked one, Shadows Of The Damned!
I've been on another bit of a spree, and picked up a few more games (3 for ?20).....Favorite one is Just Cause 2....Loads of fun just running about the map finding stuff to play with! I reckon I might not be as impressed when I go back to playing other sandbox titles though, as this is simply awe-inspiring with the detail it has packed into it!
I stole a plane and took it way up into the clouds during a thunderstorm, jumped out and free-fell for ages before opening my parachute, landing on a car, fighting the occupants off and stealing that and then driving it into the sea, where I found a strange little scorpion crawling around on the sea floor.....truly amazing! And it's got a massive map with loads of explosive crap lying around too! Will be playing around with this for months....
I also got the Sega Megadrive Collection or whatever it's called....lots of classic titles with the added bonus of fairly easy achievements and unlockables! And Guitar Hero Warriors Of Rock.... which has another 100 or so tracks for me to play!
That was the 3 for ?20...but I also picked up god-sim From Dust which is on sale for 800 Microsoft points right now...only played it for a wee while, but it seems pretty groovy! It's by the chap what did Another World on the 16-bits back in the day.....
Ooh, and I'm finally getting the internet in my flat at the end of the month, so hopefully I'll be able to set my NAT setting to the proper thing so I can join more of you online for playing stuff like Halo and Red Dead and the new GTA when it's out and stuff.....Yay! :D
I'm playing Dune II for MegaDrive (didn't even know there was a megadrive version of it)
I havent found how you control more than one unit at the time, and the game seems slow when compared to C & C, but is still very atmosferic as it was back then!
Pocket Pilots on iOS. One of the most addictive games I've played in years. While playing it I wonder if there could ever be a Spectrum version but the more I play it the more I don't think there could be (a decent version that is).
Yeah, I'm thinking of getting that at some point...I'm really enjoying the last one he worked one, Shadows Of The Damned!
I think it's using the same game engine and although the gameplay is different (this is a brawler and Shaddows is a shoote) it has many similarities. The overal presentation is quite similar and the graphic style is the same, just colourful instead of the darker tones in Shaddows.
It also likes to throw in random set piece games too (like getting a certain score at basketball by lobbing heads into the basket or protecting someone while they get 3 home runs in Baseball etc) so it's just as whackey too :)
GAME are selling it for ?29.99 and it's ?39.99 everywhere else, so I;d go there ;-)

I don't think you can, IIRC that didn't kick in til Command n Conquer
Been going through Silent Hill 2 from the HD collection and I've managed to get the Maria ending and less than 500 damage on my second run in it. I was mainly going for the ending but I was making a half hearted attempt at the damage, 75 kills with guns and under 3 hours achievements. I only got ~60 kills with guns and finished in 3 hours 27 so I should easily get them both on the next run with another of the endings.
Also managed to do the weekly in Halo Reach by thursday. 150 waves in firefight is too easy to pass up. Especially for 30,000Cr :D
Also been playing Boulder Dash XL. I bought it for myself and I've got up to level 37 in Arcade, but Siouxsie was playing it a lot more than me and got up to 39 before I got to 25! She's got stuck on 39 so that gave me a good chance to catch up
I also got the Sega Megadrive Collection or whatever it's called....lots of classic titles with the added bonus of fairly easy achievements and unlockables!
I got that for Siouxsie a while ago and ended up playing it to get half the achievements as you oly need to play a wee bit of most of the games :D
Ooh, and I'm finally getting the internet in my flat at the end of the month, so hopefully I'll be able to set my NAT setting to the proper thing so I can join more of you online for playing stuff like Halo and Red Dead and the new GTA when it's out and stuff.....Yay! :D
Woohoo! Hopefully we can get through Halo 3 on Legendary sometime :D
That'll give me an excuse to try and rank up in Reach again so I've got enough credits for the last helmet attatchment. I'm only needing the last one for the Zoid look-a-like. 450,000 Cr though :o
But I'll have just enough when I reach Mythic :D
-edit-
Once you've got online and hopefully with no lag maybe me, you and Wookiee can have some fun on Halo 3 or Reach's multiplayer. I still want to have good games in Reach but there's still too many quitters outside Griffball.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

Just finished In Memoriam/Missing Since January. All in all a great game, give or take the odd annoying semi-broken minigame. The ending is a bit old school in that it pretty much just says "you have won", but I've been told by an in-game character that I'll be receiving an email soon, so I expect there'll be a bit more to it. Good stuff - now onto the sequel (Evidence: The Last Ritual)! :-)
Trying to work out what to play now I'm back off me week off work?
I'd like to buy that Lollipop Chainsaw, but for what it is I'd rather chop my knob off with a chainsaw than pay $60 for it, they can ram that right up their cockholes!
I'd like to get the Silent Hill HD collection too, but really $40, every other other HD collection retails at about $29.99, what's so special about this one? Cos the games are L@@K! R@RE! on their original platforms I presume, robbing basts, and it's only 2 and 3! OK everyone said 4 was sh*te, but they could've lobbed that in there as well?
...anyway I'm determining weither to continue messing with the PS1, or plug the PS3 back in and pick up one of the few games I have for that. Maybe an evil playthrough on inFAMOUS 2? Or perhaps playing through GTA IV again? It's been over a year now I think?

"A bit more to it" - I received a total of five emails telling me how the ending panned out! I also started the sequel last night (which is pretty much exactly the same, but presented a little better and seems more involved so far), forgot to turn my phone off, got woken up by an email at 2:45 this morning! Also, I got an email from a character this morning moaning at me for not keeping in touch with her! I think this game actually wants me to email them back?!
Well in an unusual twist for me I'm now playing one of those nerdy cult type games, I took the plunge and started playing Persona.
It's quite good, but it's a bit up it's own arse, and I don't really have a clue what's going on exactly?
It does actually seem like a very pretentious game indeed, just like the series it spun off from.
Shin Megami Tensei is defo marmite to the nth level.
But if I can play this all the way through and enjoy it, maybe I'll take the time to play Persona 2, and the other persona 2 game that's supposed to be the missing link in the series? If I like those who knows I may even take the time to bother with P3 and P4 on the PS2? Although I'll probably get completely sick of the series before I get that far :D
Still playing Persona, I think I'm enjoying it inspite of turning it off the other day and losing about 2 hours worth of play because it got too late and I had to go to work that night. The save points are all bloody miles away from each other, you can play for hours without finding one. It's just bloody crashed now as well so I'm gonna have to start again, thank f*ck I just saved it round the corner from where I am now
Also in the typical style of Atlus' RPG games the only dialogue that's had any attention paid to it in the translation is the main story stuff. But even then there's spelling and grammar out of whack with some of that, but where the engrish really shines is talking to the demons.
You can basically contact any demon you fight and you're given 4 options with each character in your party to talk to it with. Certain demons respond differently to different actions depending on what you choose or who you choose to do the talking. But most of what's said makes no sense at all, and half the time you can't even tell if it's you or the demon who's saying it
For instance you can choose to provoke the demon with your main character, and it'll say you provoked the demon, and the demon will reply with something like "So what you're saying is you don't like orange juice? How dare you, your life energy is dirty! Give me some please!".
Congo Bongo on MAME. A classic Sega plattform, nice game.
I'd only played that once before, so when I saw this earlier, I fird it up on my Andriod phone. Because of the dodgy controls, I died far too many times for it to be fun, so I'll have another go with a proper controller later as it looked like it could be an interesting game :-)

Yep, it's an interesting game. That screen (first screen) is a sort of 'Donkey Kong in three dimensions'. :)
Been quite hooked on Peggle and Zuma lately. Also been playing Gynoug on the Mega Drive.
I've never liked Zuma (I find it boring) but I should never have downloaded Peggle as I can't put that bloody thing down once I've started it! Super addictive. I've only bought the standard Peggle on iOS, but will buy Peggle Nights once I get propperly stuck with the standard game (and at only 69p, I know it will provide hours of fun)
I've also just downloaded The 7th Guest on iOS too. I've always wanted to play it and never got around to it until today as I;d read a bit in the new Retro Gamer about it's sequel, so that reminded me to buy it.
I'm looking forward to spending some time with that :-)
Saint's Row 2. Having wiped out the Sons Of Samedi, I've now turned my attention to The Brotherhood and am slowly removing all trace of them too.
Boiling Point: Road To Hell. This is a strange one. It's a bit like a cross between Just Cause (but without all the explosions and ridiculously awesome stunts) and Elder Scrolls. Huge gameworld in which you can pretty much wander around doing as you please, with the main quest of having to rescue your kidnapped daughter from a fictional South American country, RPG-like weapon stats that you increase through usage, different factions to side with (affecting your standing with other factions) etc. Buggy as hell, and it throws you right in at the deep end, but it seems there's a lot of game there to get into, provided I can dedicate some time to it. I did try playing it before but got sucked into something else, as usual...
Alone In The Dark. Again, buggy as hell, but I'm still finding it rather engrossing...

lol like me with zookeeper, its the only thing i really play on mi 3ds and its only a normal ds game cant put it down when i start
Professional Mel-the-Bell Simulator................"So realistic, I found myself reaching for the Kleenex King-Size!" - Richard Darling
I keep forgetting how much a mess they made of Driver 3....still, you can still just about have some fun with the Director mode....
Driver 3 is one of the best freeworld driving games and the best in the series. Why? Because it had full physics with cars that could flip over rather than the cars glued to the road with invisible walls stopping you to drive anywhere like the ones that followed. It was great fun driving of cliffs!
Going to attempt to play Persona again sometime today, I've had about 3 days where I haven't really played anything apart from older systems, and listened to tunes.
I'm determined not to let Persona become another one of those older RPG games that I start and never finish, or leave alone so long that when I try to start them back up I no longer have a clue what I'm doing.
Hopefully the part where it crashed the other day was a one off, otherwise it may end up being just that, and that will annoy me, a lot.

Hehe...yeah, I posted that to my Wall Photos on Facebook a while back! My niece reckons it's a rather accurate representation of me.... :D
Yep, it's me with Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3/NV, RDR, GTA IV, etc :)
