When I first read what happened, I couldnt believe it, I had no clue that something like that could happen.
He was a really kind, care and fun person, he replied all my mails back in the day, even if in the beginning he did not know me at all. Always tried to answer all I asked, in a good way. He was a peculiar person, but in the good way too.
It was really sad when I realized.
Thanks for all, and for your games Jonathan! :)
Will play tonight some Cobra and Green Beret ;)
I joined WoS shortly after his passing so sadly wasn't able to communicate with him on the forums. However, it's clear that his influence still resonates on here (and in the spectrum scene as a whole) both in terms of his programming legacy and oddball character :)
His 'What's on your saucer' contributions were magnificent. :-D

He was the first person to add me as a friend on here. I was just feeling like I was getting to know him whe he passed. I'm gonna go and fire up Green Berret right now :-)
Nah actually she screamed when I put it in, there was still about 3 inches outside when I hit her cervix, us Geordies are too much even for those latin mama's :p
You Manc's on the other hand....well you might as well just use your other hand ;)

So what's everyone's fave Joffa game and you can only choose one?
For me it's got to be Mikie
Hypersports. Probably the best arcade conversion on the Speccy. I've never broken the swimming world record, and I finally managed to ask Jof about it on here. He said he never tested if it could be beaten!

You know, I've never really thought of it like that before, but yes, it could well be. It's certainly up there with the likes of Chase HQ...
Still haven't managed to get those bloody Adidas Speccy trainers....him stealing them in Liverpool for me was probably my last hope! :D
As for fave game of his....Probably Hyper Active! Managed to get a lot further in that than I ever did in Dropzone.....
