Saint's Row 2. Having wiped out the Sons Of Samedi, I've now turned my attention to The Brotherhood and am slowly removing all trace of them too.
Boiling Point: Road To Hell. This is a strange one. It's a bit like a cross between Just Cause (but without all the explosions and ridiculously awesome stunts) and Elder Scrolls. Huge gameworld in which you can pretty much wander around doing as you please, with the main quest of having to rescue your kidnapped daughter from a fictional South American country, RPG-like weapon stats that you increase through usage, different factions to side with (affecting your standing with other factions) etc. Buggy as hell, and it throws you right in at the deep end, but it seems there's a lot of game there to get into, provided I can dedicate some time to it. I did try playing it before but got sucked into something else, as usual...
Alone In The Dark. Again, buggy as hell, but I'm still finding it rather engrossing...
I used to like Boiling Point but i kept going on GTA style rampages in the villages and getting killed by the police or one of the factions.
I didn't get very far in the missions so i usually just explored the place. Its a good game and you could easily spend hours and hours driving or walking around.

I shot a civilian by accident and the whole town went ape on me! Even OAPs suddenly became armed psychopaths! Lesson learned there, methinks!
I gave up on Persona it keeps crashing in the Police Station and I keep losing my game after at least an hours play, and since the save points are so far away from each other I can't do any random safety type saves either.
Shame I was really starting to get into it as well :(
Finally got the internet put in my flat, so now I can go on whenever I want and sit at a proper computer table, and not balance a keyboard on my knees under the stairs at my parent's house, as I have been doing the last year or 2......or using horrible, ming-encrusted internet cafe keyboards!
Hurrah! I'll stick on the Xbox in a bit and make sure it's set up properly to hopefully let me play some games online with people without it juddering all over the place..... :)
Been playing Arkham City again. Really enjoyed finishing off the side quests so I decided to try New Game + and got that finished aswell. I'm still not that great at it so I'm surprised I got that finished.
The only side quest I've got left is the AR Training. I'm at 90% so I'm sure it's only one left and I can't bloody get it. It's the one in the Industrial District where you've to dive off a neon sign and go through a fairground train bit. I've only managed to get into the tunnel once and got caught on the roof bits. I think I've tried it about 30 times so I've given up now.
I also finished Sonic the Hedgehog with only one life this afternoon. Saves are a brilliant thing :D
Also discovered that the last piece of helmet armour I need in Halo: Reach requires a rank of Mythic to buy. I've got enough Cr but I still need 112,000 more to rank up to get it. Bugger.
I also started Alan Wake's America Nightmare last night. Pretty good fun. Plays exactly like the main game. The splitters are a bit of a pain. I've started the second chapter and apparently there's some spider like creatures in it which should make things interesting.
I hope we can get some proper games of Halo on the go now :)
Apparently the wireless adapter for the 360 creates a little bit of lag (maybe that's why Reach always says my upstream is "Warning") so I'll still be slightly off when playing but it shouldn't be anywhere near as bad as the last times we've played. When I play against anybody else it's not really that noticeable unless they've got a little lag aswell. I still lay the blame in your parent's connection :p
-edit-
Remember to google port forwarding for the 360 (portforward.com or something) to help make sure everything has full access.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

Only 30? I guess I must have done it about 60 times before I got it :)
That was in fact the most difficult thing in the whole game. Few tips: The circle markers are good points at which you should do something - for example, start gently pulling the joystick when you reach the lower one. You really have to do it this early but very slowly not to over do it. It also helps a lot if you don't dive bomb through the middle of the top one, but much far far away from the building, almost out of the circle. Using these two tips, you should be able to get into the tunnel at least every other try. Then it is just a matter of not hitting something on the ceiling - therefore, try not to pull up anymore once you are in there, and make sure you steer around any obstacles you see.
Videogame mental stalemate, can't be bothered to play retro, don't have the energy to commit to playing through one of my games that I already have.
Put my PS1 away after Persona kept crashing, and set my PS3 back up, I have some decent games for it, I've just played them all, and can't be bothered to play any of them again as much as I did enjoy playing them.
I almost started a new game of GTA IV, but it took me months to play through it properly last time, and even though it's been over a year since I played it last something tells me it just won't have the same magic it had the first time around. If I go for the 100% again this time (last time hung up at about 86%), it'll take another 3 months off me
I think I'll just wait until next payday and buy Yakuza 3 and 4, those will keep me busy for at least 1 month. Yakuza may not be very highly though of, but I loved 1 and 2 even with their ridiculous minigames you had to play for the 100% which you basically have to be Japanese to ever have a chance of playing.
I've just played through the 2nd episode of The Walking Dead....
Not sure how well I did with the choices I made (just seemed to piss everybody off) but I love how the decisions I made in the first episode seem to have had an effect on how this one plays out.....
Definitely a bit more than just another zombie game this one! :)
Saints Row 2. I'm through terrorising The Brotherhood. There were actually a couple of fairly serious, emotional-ish moments along the way, which I found to be quite a pleasant surprise. So, now on to the Ronin. :)
I've ended up really enjoying this a lot. Never thought I'd say that! Definitely buying the last one when I'm done...

I'm not finding the 3rd one as good....it seems to be lacking something!? Still a groovy, fun-filled sandbox, but just not clicking the same as Saints Row 2.....maybe I need to play it some more......

I get exactly the same way too! I'm currently in a non-gaming mood as I just don't reallyt know what to play. I'm in the middle of loads of games, but lack motivation to finish them (Lollipop Chainsaw, Skyrim, Saints Row 3....I could go on) and I have a couple that I;ve not even started yet, like the last Assassins Creed (I really should play that one before the new one comes out).
At the moment, I'm installing a set of ROM dvd's I've just got. A set of the Hyperspin front end, but it installs in 3 parts and this last part is taking forever (13 dvd's). Once I've got that sorted, I'm gonna have a retro blow out!
I'm not finding the 3rd one as good....it seems to be lacking something!? Still a groovy, fun-filled sandbox, but just not clicking the same as Saints Row 2.....maybe I need to play it some more......
I kind of felt the same way too. The second one was a massive improvment on the first game, but the third seems a little dated to me. Alot of the modern things that I seem to have taken for granted are missing and it makes it feel like an old game, even though it's new. A cover system for example is very sorely missed IMO ;-)
I'm only playing iOS games at the moment. Drop7 is currently taking up most of my time and this evening I downloaded Gauge Game for my iPhone and it really is 1 key score attack and I'm wondering if a Spectrum version would be worth it.

I've heard similar things from a few people, it seems SR2 is everyone's favourite so far. I'll get the third one anyway, it seems I just can't get enough sandbox at the mo. Dunno why I keep buying them though, the yet-to-play list is looking ridiculous these days... :-o

Same....I've currently got loads of 360 games sitting unfinished! Or even practically unstarted.....
...Sonic Adventure
Dawnguard
Saints Row 3
Aliens vs Predator
Deus Ex - Human Revolution
Just Cause 2
Rage...
And that's just the ones I can remember! Plus I've got about 200 older games on other systems I really want to get through, and then all the slightly crapper ones I'm not too fussed about! And so many more (hopefully) good games coming out......
It's funny when I started watching TV yesterday I realised I have a Wii!
I complete forgot about it
It's been a hub for netflix for the last 2 years or so, but since the wife bought the Roku Box the Wii has pretty much been neglected, since the Roku let's you use Netflix, Crackle, Pandora, and Amazon Movies (and just about any other online media service that you can sign up to). But I've been using it to watch the show I'm watching at the min for about a week now, and yet I still completely forgot about it :D
....oh well, now that I look I can't be arsed to play any of the games I have for it either

Cheers for that but I'm not going to bother with it now. I just can't seem to get the timing right as I find it difficult to tell how close I am to the ground and how high I'll be going after I've pulled up.
It was a struggle to get some of the previous ones done (the one off the side of the crane and through the water channel towards the Toy Company building) and some of the Riddler Trophies.
There's only the A.R. and about 10 trophies to get and that'd be it. But I can't see me getting the last of the trophies as even some of the physical challenges for them are eluding me.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.

Been looking at a few oldies today since I'm still not in the mood to start playing anything I have to commit to.
Alisia Dragoon Megadrive
Magic Hat (possibly the best cutesy platformer ever) Megadrive
I seem to have misplaced the vid for this one? Oh sod it Youtube is slowing my computer to a crawl at the mo, so I'm not going back on to get the bloody link.
Ninja Warriors (Again!) SNES
Since I've ate curry 3 days running I'm starting to sweat it out, I actually smell like curry, and in this heat that is not a good thing. So I'm off for a damn good scrubbing, then after the shower I think I may attempt to start Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow again. A couple of years back I played Circle of the Moon and Harmony of Dissonance back to back, and I think Aria of Sorrow was just a bit too much Castlevania after that. So I stopped playing it and never went back to it, but now I think I will, I can probably have it done in a couple of days maybe?
Then after that I may have the energy to try Persona again? Hope I can get it working properly...mmm...must grumble!

just fired it back up on mame and got up there on mi first life lol
then died without getting over the first jump on the second level Oo
