Locomalito remake of EFMB!!!!
Hello All,

I'm tremendously excited to annouce that in conjunction with RGCD, Legendary programmer Locomalito has been busy grafting away on a PC remake of the ZX Spectrum game, ENDLESS FORMS MOST BEAUTIFUL. It boasts spikes, snakes, bosses, inertia, missiles, conveyors and more.
It's available as freeware from his and RGCDs website as of tonight at 11 o'clock.
I don't have much to say other than I'm chuffed to nuts with the product. I can't complete it so far, and as a seasoned veteran of 'panic' style platformers that's saying something. The phrase that is being coined is 'Braincrashing'.
Please check it out from here or here, but make sure you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST!
So far that's the important formats covered, the Spectrum, Sam Coupe and the PC... now just the BBC, CPC and others mwa hah hah!....
Thanks to all involved. I must confess the most annoying thing about remakes is the 'I wish I thought of that factor.
More to add I'm sure, but later.
Well done everybody!

Aye it's great isn't it, Locomalito's done a great job, considering the inferior hardware
Cheers for the review on your blog! And yep you're right, that is Sid Spanners.
EFMB is really lovely and seeing that a PC remake of it has been done so quickly is another proof of its value.
But wait a minute... 23 MB and more of ZIPped file when the original game fits into 48 KB?
Best feature - "Play with only one hand" (fnar) :-D
