Future Pinball
Has anyone here got any experience with this thing? It's a fancy 3D pinball simulator with many original tables as well as remakes of proper tables. But, I'm having a bit of an issue with it (as usual!) I can get basic tables to work (ones like Mr Burns, Mc Bain, and a couple of the Pinball Dreams remakes etc) but I can't get the more complicated ones to load. They all freeze during the loading process. I'm not doing anything different with those tables, but they just don't seem to want to load (tables like Addams Family, Masters of the Universe, Spideman UE etc)
I've asked on a couple of the FP forums, but they're not as friendly as this one (nor as helpful).
A brief video of a Future Pinball table in action incase you don't know what I'm going on about...

Those pinballs can be found on Good old Games (links included).
Pinball Fantasies
Pro Pinball: Timeshock!
Those pinballs won't give you dozens of tables to play with, but the included tables are the best I've played.
Also, maybe you would like to check Visual Pinball, another Pinball Simulator that is able to run ROMs of real pinball machines (vpinmame).
An' you know what they said?
Well, some of it was true!
I've got a massive set of PinMAME tables and they are good fun, but are rather lo-res when compared with Future Pinball and they are re-makes of real tables rather than the Future ones that are more original than re-makes. For example, I've found 2 tables remade from Pinball Dreams (I think.....Vampire and Billion Dollar Game Show) remade into 3D tables using the Future Pinball engine, but I've not seen them in PinMAME, so both have their advantages.
I've also got that Timeshock game somehwere as I bought it in a random ?1 shop many years ago. I'll have to have a nosey about for it and see what I can find. Thanks :)
I also love PinballFX2 on XboxLive. That's a great simulator with some fantastic tables available. I've bought them all so far (except the most recent set of 4 because I've not got the points to buy them yet) and not regretted any of them. I've also bought a hard copy of the other pinball simulator that's just come out on XboxLive. I can't remember what it's called as I've not played it yet, but I got a new disc version with about 15 tables on it for about ?8 in a sale about 3 weeks ago. I'll have to fire that up later and see how it is :)
