last night coming home from work ont he bus, i was getting oggled by a lass with almost a full sleeve on one arm and shoulder, tatts on her back, and wrist
she had reddish hair in school girl platts :P
Get her number next time you see her...I want it. :-P
Yough! Hello Kitty on his forehead also. Very strange. I went to my mate's stag party the other week. A dozen of his other mates at his house and all of them with major tats. I felt like the only clean guy there! I would have loved one when i was twelve, but I can't help trying to get into the mind of those who do.
I also went out with my nephew and my best mate, who also made a passing mention to their tats. I really don't get it! They were trying to coerce me into getting one. No.
I can't say I'm a fan of lots of tats, although saying that Danielle from American Pickers on the History Channel is a bit of alright :-D
She is a bit of alright... makes it worth watching American Pickers. Did you notice how her front tattoo evolved during the course of the series (started in Season 1 as an outline)?
Did anyone like watching Miami Ink and LA Ink on Discovery? Kat Von D was nothing but a woman with delusions and Yogi (the Japanese apprentice) couldn't draw or tattoo to save his life. There was one real stupid tattoo on that show and that was of the woman who had a slice of toast tattooed on her just because she was stupid to think it bore the face of Jesus. In my opinion, Chris Garver did the best tattoos.
Some of the artwork that the tattoos were based on were quite good. My mother liked the one that was called Mother of Water and asked me to find a copy but with no luck.
I don't have tattoos myself, I've never really had an interest in getting any but I do admire the work that goes into the good ones.
I'm not a big fan of them myself though they do suit some people.
I did a summer job once for a water management company and the guy I worked with used to be in the merchant navy. He had some serious old-skool, blue ink jobs on his arms. Some of them were proper filthy.
