...seems like a cool party you've had there! I couldn't help but have a glance at the other pictures... What was the occasion?

I'm from Scotland but have been living in the Netherlands for a few years. I've never been to a 'Sjonnie & Anita' party myself but my fianc? has (she's Dutch).

I'm in Limburg and carnival is happening *bigtime* here at the moment. I can actually hear the 'optocht' as I'm typing this. I've done carnival a couple of times but don't bother with it anymore.

Are you participating in the fun this year?

Not me. I'm from up north and don't understand it really. But I suppose it's fun when you live there.

I was actually asking Dr Beep as Brabant is a big carnival location too. :) North of 'the rivers' you don't do it (it definately seems to be a catholic thing). ;)

    Well,

since most of the office is free today somebody has to make a sacrifice.

On monday we have the "Metworstrennen" (WWW.METWORST.NL) and the whole village will be awaken by trumpetters. I heard them on 06:00 this morning.

BTW Where are you from? I already thought you might be dutch (the Johnny-sentence), but your profile doesn't state your habitat.

OK it's Scottish. But when you're in Limburg
try to link it with a meeting in Urmond (although still no def. date)

Paul did you deliberately go to that party as Ali G? or is that what you really look like :)
DO NOT invite Arjun to a bollywood party cos he'll be somersaulting, singing, dancing and rolling all over the place. :)

I'm in Roermond. If I'm free I'll definately come say hello in Urmond as it's only 25 minutes from here. Do you have the meetings at the Van der Valk hotel?

Yes, we have. A two days meeting, but there seems to be another meeting in Germany at the same time so the date isn't fixed yet.

Keep watching this forum for exact dates.
I will ask the chairman if there is a fixed date.

    Got any Sinclairs in there?
  • edited February 2005
Yes, there is a Sinclair Oxford, Sinlcair Camrbridge and Sinclair Cambridge Programmable in view.

The Oxford is black with blue buttons on the right, second row down, under the one with red and white buttons top right (calfax 890p) and the two camridges are next to it.

No, but I liked to race along the corridor of our house with my tricycle, too.
