Colin Stewart's Dracula

edited October 2012 in Games
Anyone remeber this?

Since then, nothing more. Colin himself hasn't been visiting the WOS Forum since April, judging by his profile. I wonder if anyone here has been in touch with him in the meantime to know if Dracula will ever be released.

I was thinking about this just yesterday. It would be a must play game for me if it does materialise.

How lucky the microdrives still works =)

I hope Colin puts all data in secure format. New games from him would be somthing amazing and an incredible bath of nostalgia.

Just FrankNStein is one of the games from which I guard fonder memories, along with ChuckieEgg we discovered the platform addictiveness and fun of games.

I loved even the loading time with the great screen$ with the body pieces and its numbers.. just delightful for a 7 years old boy imagination :)

He had temporarily suspended work on this game due to lack of time, but wrote me a while ago that he was still planning to finish it eventually.

I will contact him again and let him know about this thread, since this may help increase his motivation. In the meantime, perhaps we could get more people to post here mentioning they would be also interested as well? (hint!)

Dracula would be cool for Halloween. I hope, it will be finished.

I'd like to see this too, it's most pleasing to see new projects released and old projects resurrected...*

EDIT> no choice of a spooky font, Comic Sans MS weel have to doooo.
  • Colin Stewart's Dracula?

Bram Stoker might have something to say about that!

I'm pretty sure six feet of dirt muffles out anything he has to say.

Im sure Bram Stoker would say to save the data out from the microdrive, Im sure of that.

That's assuming he's dead. What if Dracula was actually an autobiography?

Sorry I've been away so long but I'm back now. 'Real' work commitments have meant I haven't been able to finish Dracula off but with the onset of winter, all that has to change. I'm not sure Halloween is a realistic target (although very appropriate) but Christmas seems like a possibility.
Anyway, thanks for the interest and to Einar Saukas for taking the trouble to contact me and remind me about you all.

Quote from Van Helsing's letter to the Vatican ;)

Looking forward to this one. No pressure!

Then Dracustoker has probably tired himself out by now, trying to claw his way out of the coffin.

Bram already told us this won't be a problem, since the exact game title will be...
