Maybe it's a mild form of what I call the "get out of my [insert place/site etc. here]" syndrome and there's room for only one Italian poster on WOS. I've been posting on a forum for Japan expats and people there mentioned the "get out of my Japan" syndrome where foreigners would either not acknowledge or patronize other foreigners they met because they felt special being the only exotic foreigner in town so didn't want someone else to step into the limelight, so to speak. Just googled it and here is one example where this is described.
Wild speculation, though. Maybe he's just taking the piss, after all WIWC often posts in a slightly weird manner.

One of the Italian forum members in particular, Alessandro Tommasi, has not posted anything for years after being quite active. I wonder what he will be doing by now.
