Hi! I fixed a couple 128k toastie boards and would like to fit them to better looking cases as their own look very ugly. Anyone got spares for sale? Having a hard time finding them on ebay. Thanks!

Would Spectrum Plus cases be good? You'd be missing the 128k logo but if you can live with that you might find those easier. I have plenty but I think with shipping from Netherlands it would probably be too expensive.

Thanks, but I have a spare plus case. I want an actual toastie case. I have the heatsink so the plastic parts would be enough. I have some spare keyboards too.
If they are just dirty and horrible looking a good blast in the dishwasher usually sorts that out (mine come up like new!) Failing that lots of scrubbing and soapy water, you'll be surprised! If they are all scratched up and dented, thats a different matter!

Problem is harder as the case was modded by the previous owner to have kempston and centronics ports straight up the case so there are large craters defacing the poor toastie at the right of the sinclair logo. Beyond that the case is broken inside where the leg pegs should go, and there's a small crack in the rear edge conn. I see no other solution than putting it inside a new case. If i can't get a toastie case, i'll come up with some weird idea like plus spares, dk'tronics keyboard, notebook, pc case... The current case still works but it's so ugly ! I think the board deserves a better housing.

I just noticed this...
Is this totally safe? Obviously I know to remove all the innards, but I have some +2's and even some Amstrad 6128's that need a darn good clean, but it's getting around to it.
