Amazing Rocketeer problem

edited November 2012 in Games
After getting killed in this game, playing in my +2A, its impossible to get to play again, as the "Game Over" screen stays forever no matther what keys you press. In the emulator it happens the same, making it even crash sometimes...

Is that normal or am I missing simething?

34205: JR 34205 - the game is in endless loop at game over.

Hard to say that it is normal but for sure it was intended by the programmer ;)

Amazing Rocketeer seems like unfinished job. The author did 99% of work but didn't put it all together. Instead he released 5 loose levels which end with hanging the computer.

So thats what endless loop at game over means...I thought he meant that it would be impossible to leave the current level...

Thats true what you say Ralf, the game is actually nice, but too hard, and with some major issues. A pity since it could have been really good! The graphics are awesome, though.

It's the same as 10 GO TO 10 in Basic, Ivan. Does nothing but jumps to itself and executes forever.

A programmer may wish to use such instruction temporarily during work in progress and replace it later with something else like a jump to main menu (not existing yet) for example.

Hmm so there is any easy poke to avoid that? :)
