Im playing with idea of small 16-bit floating point library, 3 digit precission, 6 bit exponent and size well under 400 bytes. Should be faster than ROM calculator, allowing simple manipulation with numbers through 16-bit instructions ( LD RR, xxxx , LD RR, [xxxx], PUSH RR, POP RR ) and precision would be bearable, roughly of slide rule.
