[MIA] Video Spectrum issue 18

edited December 2012 in MIA/STP/SDP
Hi folks,

I'm going through a batch of VOC files from Tony (ADJB) ages ago, just I never got around to getting further due to tape signal etc. Some are German and Spanish (SPA2) but I thought I'd raise it here in the hope we can resolve a MIA.

On Side A, I have a problem with block 4 which should be 40bytes in length, but only seems to capture 27bytes (damaged) (Prog: LABER 1)

Side B, seens to barf after block 9 (Prog: ATERRIZA).

Of course once resolved would be an SPA2 file, unless it's already done ?

Cheers

Andy

These non English tapes, compilations, ahem re-releases or hacks always give me the run around. I probably need access to the actual tapes for this and others ? Question is, even if we recover them can we release them onto WoS, if they. Contains hacks then no :-).

    Many thanks for looking.

    Hi all,

Unfortunately, Video Spectrum 18 is not in the queue for the SPA2 next update.

And yes, unfortunately, since as Gorski says they are very strange issues in these wavs anyway. OK for Gorski says about LABER*1, which it seems to come from a prior, lower volume rest of data, and which it sounds fixing a pause between blocks of the real content. For side 2, it is easy to hear two distinct signals are one over the another, so I think it is impossible for extract it :-(.

    Cheers,
    Jose.
