Wanted: TS1000 and TS2020

Hello all, I'm a newbie portuguese guy here at this forum, so if there's anything wrong I do please excuse me...

I love the Spectrum, so I'm willing to create a "Sinclair room" at home, with hardware from that time. But, there are some pieces of hardware I'm still missing, the Timex Sinclair 1000 computer and the Timex Sinclair 2020 tape recorder (BTW, all made in Portugal...). If there's anyone who could sell them to me, I'll be extremely glad! :D

Once more, please don't take offence for anything wrong I did, since I'm a newbie here. :oops:

    I have a boxed TS1000 which got together with a ZX81 in 1 buy which I am willing to sell. Untested since I didn't set the TV right, but seller told me all was ok since I stated the reason of buying ( developping 1K hires games)

    Well, thanks for your quick response!

    The point is that I only want to buy the PC and/or the tape recorder, with their power supplies. I don't want to spend much more money for the "whole bunch" 'cause they would be a no-use for me, and adding to it it would be the shipping price... :sad:

    If you (anyone) would like to sell just the PC and/or just the tape recorder please PM me, and I'll surely answer back! ;)

    Just sent me a PM what you are willing to pay for it. I got it fairly cheap so I don't need a full price for it!

    The 2020's are pretty thin on the ground...took me 2-3years to get one and even that has the battery cover missing.

    Yes, beanz, I'm starting to think that way, I just lost an Ebay auction on one TS2020 by a single bid...

    Anyway, I'm not quitting on this "quest" of mine for that tape recorder, with or without battery cover!!!...:razz:

    And you're also waiting for me to get back to you. I didn't forget. :-) Thing is, I'm a lot busier these days. With gym, work, side work and school I barely have any time left for hobbies. Beanz, how did you get your TS2020? :grin:

    I may even have an extra one, but I don't have the time and don't know when I'll have the time to look for it. Same with the TS1000.

    P.S. I probably have close to 10 people who are waiting for me to get back to them. I can answer an e-mail or two, but I'm sorry to say I don't have the time to go through boxes at the moment.

    I managed to give him a heads up on a Timex Command stick though in return.

    Thanks a lot, Yerzmyey! Sorry to say this to you, but I already know that forum's existence for some time ago; I asked on this forum first due to a good advice from "hackersanon". Anyway, I'm still waiting from a PM from "Dr BEEP" on our business... :razz:

    I'll surely move to that other forum (and on other sorces, as well) if I couldn't get what I want to buy! :D

    Hey guys, still remember me?... :)

    Well, just drop by today to say that I already have a Timex Sinclair 1000, due to our good friend Dr BEEP (he "got" me one, so to speak). ;)

    The problem is that I still couldn't put the "computer" working, mostly due to lack of time from myself. Next time I can find some time I promise I get it to work, and say it so here, on WorldOfSpectrum! Anyway, I'm still waiting for some "kind soul" that could sell me a complete Timex Sinclair 2020 analog tape recorder...
