  I saw them earlier this year in York (The Duchess) and it was a brilliant gig. John French does a great job taking over from the Captain and having Mark Boston and Denny Walley playing too was amazing as I never got to see Beefheart back in the day.
  
  Highly recommended! I'm definitely going to the York gig again :)

  
  Where is The Duchess in York? A few local bands from here have played there over the years and i've seen some decent bands advertised for it, but I've never found the place when I've been in York :-(

  Do you know where Stonebow is? The Duchess is where the snooker club used to be. It's near Fibbers (another music venue) and next door to the Job Seekers place.
  
  It is a bit tucked away and you have to look hard to see the sign from the road!
