    lol welcome to my world
im the one expected to do most things in our dept, even tho plenty of others can, im even supervising the new (been here now over 6 months) superviser, and he gets paid less than me, for standing with his hands on hips :(

I feel your pain, I'm pretty much single handedly running my department at work, but would anybody higher up than me admit it....f**k no!

Annoying thing is I'm pretty much Micro Management, they refer to me as manager on the schedule, they even referred to me as manager on the generic "everybody gets the same printed out piece of paper" Company Christmas Card. Yet I don't get full management pay, and I don't get a managers shirt.

But I'm still expected to do the work of a "real" manager, and then some!

im not even classed as a superviser, let alone manager, even tho i spent 3/4 years doing the old supervisers job when he was shagging ladyboys in thailand every few months.
the manager comes up to me all the time and tells / asks me to do things.......instead of telling the superviser to tell me lol, whats that say? :P
i do everything from washing out barrels, emptying bins to the production, sorting out the waste compound, knowing where chemicals are stored (seems no ****er else does......stores, superviser etc are always asking me where things are month after month), to laboratory work, adding chemicals into processes, supervising, covering other people (specially when they cant be arsed to turn up) all for about 23p more than min wage :(

I hear rumours that one of the managers may be getting the chop soon at my work. Even though I don't want his job I'm going to apply for it anyway, just to piss people off if it does become available.

They wouldn't dare give me one of their positions though, they'd be creating a monster and they know it

One of my pet peeves is the managers bitching at me about things not getting done right, then constantly having to go behind them and remove hundreds of items from the wrong places, or massive amounts of overstock that's been literally rammed onto the shelf to the point where it falls off if you sneeze 15 feet away from it. They have a habit of also cramming loads of damaged goods out there as well, that really bothers me. They do it all just to free up a little bit of space in the back warehouse. Screw how bad it makes us look if the shelves look like sh*t as long as they get the backstock down a little bit they come out looking shiny.

What really pisses me off is when they cram all this crap out they then have the nerve to turn round and put the blame on me and my staff for f**king things up, when it's blatantly them. Several managers over the last few years I've got into this argument with have stood and straight lied to my f**king face about what they've done.

Problem is the really high up management won't do anything about it, it's always some lame excuse about "Oh be nice! They were probably thinking they were being helpful". Helpful how exactly motherf**ker? by making mine and my crews job 3 times harder than it needs to be then blaming us for it when things go wrong?

It's complete balls I tells yer

Well all is calm here. Unusually calm. I'm sat at my office desk, relaxed, feeling no stress. This ain't right there's got to be something wrong.

I just found out that in my hometown there is a job suitable for me.
Might cost me A LOT on salary, but it feels good, so a sollicitation is made!:-D

Hrmmm. I see this is my 3900 post.
If that will be my salary I accept the job (will cost me app. 7% but it is worth it, is it a sign????)

Nothing get's you more appreciation in your workplace than when the boss received a request for a reference (provided one has been a hard worker).

I pray... I pray please let that be true. The end of the word for greed, selfishness and conceit, now that's something I'd like to believe in as much as I doubt it would happen.
